I've already stopped watching everyone else's performances on AI. I'm just surfing the internet to find every original Crystal song I can find. Whenever she releases an album, I'm buying! I don't care about the rest of them, tried to listen to Siobhan because of all the hype but only got annoyed. She's so wrong for me in so many levels. Crystal however fits my musical taste to a tee.

Again, she's doing the same boring style everyweek I hope one of these days SIMON will have the courage to say "I'm getting tired judging you with the GUITAR, I want to see U performing without it and see what you really R made up of" Just like what he did to JASON CASTRO of AI7.. I think She will be just an ordinary singer performer.

Crystal is good and fills a niche. A bit retro, but so what?? She will sell more CD's than any AI debut since Carrie. That style of singing/music is purchased by people 40 and over. In large quantities. Purchased, not ripped LOL. I'd sign Crystal and get a CD out quickly. She can cross-over (a la Taylor) country/pop plus some blues/soul/folk. I suck at picking AI winners, but I have been right about knowing which 5 were gonna sell the most. This one's got IT...and the timing is perfect...if she gets a CD out by year-end, she will be stunningly successful. :)

Crystal is going to make a name for herself that is remembered long after she chokes to death on her own vomit.

Wow, she reminded me so much of Janis Joplin. She has a voice, unlike what the current lot of singers that pass for talent today - all the Lady Gaga's, Spears, Beyonces, etc....can't hold a candle to this gal...this gal can plain sing.

When I listen to Crystal sing this song, I get watery-eyed. She just knocks my socks off. I hope she records the whole song soon, so I can hear it on the radio and download it to my mp3 player. She embodies that soulful, mother earth sound that Janis made so iconic and does it with such a sweet innocence. She elevated herself to the top of the leaderboard with this song. I am excited to think of what she will do next.

I still think she sucks, her voice is so annoying! No way no how I would buy her album. Don't like the way she looks or her bad attitude or her fake one too!!If she ends up winning, americainidol sucks and is rigged, like every year!!!!

Crystal, is good but I need to see her sing minus the Guitar & Harmonica then we will find out her REALITY.

she's on a different league this season with almost everyone; i think siobhan is the only contestant who can out-sing her. but i like siobhan better. i want to hear her do different stuffs. you know, without a guitar or maybe another instrument she can play... or maybe another genre. simon should not exclude crystal from taking risk because i have this feeling that she's not really taking serious risks out there.

I'm a big Bowersox fan (love the name too obviously) but she really needs to work on those breathy lower notes. We all know her best moments are when she sings the long, soulful mid to high notes, but she needs to make that lower register more solid, especially if she intends to sing more Janis Joplin.

Crystal Bowersox is a REAL star.. I love her the moment I saw and heard her in Hollywood week.. Go Mama Sox!

I have picked the winner correctly every year except when I picked Daughtry,he should have won any way.Crystal WILL win. She has that quiet look to her.Remember, Still waters run deep.She is very basic,but at the same time all business.She is SMOKIN' HOT, and has as much talent as David Cook.Look I don't want to seem jaded,but it's between her and Big Mike.They both are their way to a whole new life style.Couldn't be happier for them.

i think she is the best musician i've seen on idol. i'm not sucked in but she's unassailably good. i think she should steer v v clear of janis and other similar singers though. risk of being too sound-a-like.

It's not scatting, it's rock n roll. It seems to me like you listen to too much generic pop music. This is so much better than Lady Gaga and her stupid disco stick. Wth. There was nothing pitchy about this. Randy is an idiot. He says the same things all the time. He's boring. Siobhan's performance was an effin mess.

You know what, maybe she isn't mainstream, but who cares! She is damn good at what she does and that is more than any of the other contestants can sing. I don't care if Katie Stevens sings some shitty current song. She sucks and will never make it. Crystal at least has the talent to warrant a recording career and isn't that what the show is about. I'd rather reward the most talented and deserving than cater to the awfulness that mainstream music has become.

Not a fan of this song... It was going well until the end when it sounded like she was having a hoe-down. She's obviously really talented but I still don't see any mainstream potential with her voice or musical style, hopefully whatever she has planned for next week really is something different because she is getting so boring.

good performance. But will people pay to see her unless she's in a coffee shop? Honest, if they're looking for someone to fill a stadium, I don't see her being that person. Even Dolly Parton put away the guitar.

Love Crystal. I usually can't stand scatting, or whatever that singing style is called, but her tone of voice and how effortless and natural she is makes it great.

We love Crystal! Every week she hits the mark, she sets the stage, she sets the standards, she is the whole package. True Musician, singer and songwriter....Cant wait to buy her CD's and Concert Tickets. The Munroe Family from Florida loves you Crystal!

This was a very good performance. I think she will go a long way. Right now I predict her and Siobhan for the finale and hopefully Siobhan for the win... but we still have a long time to go.

Best of the night. Easily. Don't know if that says much though.

okay, crystal ,boring!! SIMON knows there are more fans for Siobhan so he is trying to weigh down her stardom power!!, siobhan got standing ovation from miley, she was loved by all three judges, shes the bets in the show and no matter who gets the title AI...Siobhan Magnus IS THE SHOW!

Crystal is the kind of singer that I pass by and ignore on the street. Meh.

First time I heard her sing I thought she sounded like a cross between Janis Joplin and Sugarland. Complete opposite ends of the spectrum! She is so genuine and effortless. I've been saying she needs to do a Joplin song one week and follow it up with a Sugarland song the next. Maybe that's her big surprise for next week. If she does it I'm buying a lottery ticket immediately!
