Crystal Bowersox debuts with 58,000 copies of Farmer’s Daughter
American Idol
Crystal Bowersox sold 58,000 copies of Farmer’s Daughter on her debut week according to Nielsen SoundScan. The album debuts at #28 on the Billboard 200.
Crystal outsold Lee DeWyze by 19,000 units. For the second year in a row, the runner-up on American Idol has demonstrated the dubiousness of the American Idol result. In Season 8, Adam Lambert outsold winner Kris Allen by a lot. Should Adam and Crystal have won American Idol? Probably.
