I was surprised by this. In his genre it was a very good performance.  It was so different from Cyndi Lauper, but that doesn't mean it was bad.  I think it was cool that he gave credit to the band that he covered.

 @BairesLover I hear a bit of Kris Allen in his voice, but I don't think Colton is as good as Kris.

This was just not good by any measure.. He has a whiney voice to begin with, but sometimes sounds  fine...never great. Tonight was obviously awful. Obvious to everyone for those judges.

p.s. Should someone tell Colton that he's gay?
