Colton Dixon – Fix You – American Idol
Colton Dixon sang ‘Fix You’ on American Idol
He dedicated the song to his sister who did not make it. Colton’s backstory revolves entirely around his auditions for American Idol over the past 3 years. He’s an Idol baby 3 years in the making!

Got Something to Add?
Colton has NO shot at making the top 12.
First, the boys so far that have made up have much bigger personalities and in some cases, better voices. He is already behind the pack in terms of being memorable. Second and perhaps even more important, I don't think the show (judges/producers) want him as anything more than fodder. They probably see the whole "Idol alumni who returns" as a nice little story to tell for now but when it is time for the competition, he will just get lost in it all.
Out of the guys that made it through tonight (not even counting the ones for tomorrow that will definitely have a few spots in the top 12), guys like Phil, Hee-Jun, Reed, Creighton, Johsua, Adam.... they all have a better (and likely) chance of making it before Colton.
I doubt he would have any shot at a wildcard so I would say he is a lock for one of the eliminations next week and will miss out on the top 12.
I also doubt he has very much of a fan base right now, so there's that as well.
I still don't like how much Colton plays up the cameras. For me, everything he does comes across arrogant, like the complete opposite of David Archuleta, who was just casually great every time but was humble and didn't act like he knew he was great. And Colton is not as good either.
He's far too contrived for me to support or feel connected to. For example, why does he have a British accent at 2:21?
@rickey I can't get YouTube to work on my phone from your site :(
@LiWright The last one he didn't want to, but Idol forced him and he was buttered up again as usual.
