Rickey, i think in Simon's judgement of Casey this week in your site was suppose to be "forgettable performance/song choice but good vocal" i think that's more better and it's true and less brutal than just "wasted opportunity". and in his word, forgettable performance but good vocal's not that bad right??? it's like fifty fifty. cuz Casey can definitely do a million times better than that for no doubt. not just because i'm his fan but truly, take last week as an example. and even Simon said the word himself. CASEY, YOU ROCK!!!

casey was rushed for his performance i saw him glancing at the side as if somebody giving him the signal to stop.thats unfair.I think its casey and lee are the most talented of the group especially casey 's performance last week ,he has the great vocals and he owns his guitar his genius at it, he don't need the back up band. Too bad the producers wants a female contestant to win this time i don't see any interest in crystal and siobhans talents ,they are boring and their songs are not marketable..i hope casey will choose a more popular song and give a soulful rendition to it.

I think Lee had a great night but if Casey performed a little further up the performance slots, he could have slowed it down just a little. It felt like he was rushed (he was)
but even still he is rockin! Lee is more Rob Thomas. Casey more Bob Seger vocals. Both great. I would love to see them be the top 2.

I was disappointed. It was solid, but after just about everyone else this week did the bluesy rockabilly thing that Casey is so good at, it just made him sound like 'more of the same'. Lee actually did a little better than Casey this week. Too bad. My favs are Crystal & Casey.

I actually really, really enjoyed this. Of all the contestants, Casey and Lee seem the 2 who sing the type of music I would actually buy. Maybe Crystal and Siobhan, too, but I'm just not as certain "who they are." I agree there is a little bit of disconnect between Casey and the audience, but when it comes to a CD or radio-play that won't matter that much.

He lacks real charisma. He has an OK voice but his style isn't distinctive. There's a reason he's been compared to an 80's covers band singer. If he's the front runner they're in big trouble.

His voice is great but he needs to come out of his shell and connect with his audience. If he did that he might stand a chance to win it. My only other criticism is that he needs to slow down his vibrato at times. It almost sounds like a goat when he sings it fast.

The most UNDERrated performer this year. Absolutely awesome guitar player. Wicked musicality! And he doesn't even have a clue how good looking he is. He's incredibly genuine and naiive, actually. But just a wicked natural musician and singer. He knows his way around those chords like NO ONE else on the show.

God, that was boring. He's so much better on the slow songs like "Jealous Guy" last week. But when he does these safer rock songs, he just comes off like an unoriginal, forgettable cover band. Not bad, but not memorable, not something anyone should be picking up the phone to vote for. Come on, Casey, you have to deliver EVERY week! It's a shame because he still has more potential than about half of the contestants. Of course, that's not saying much. What a weak year.

Man, I loved it! Casey turned that old song into a very grooving, current, hot blues joint. It's not the kind of dirge-like top 40 rock that the judges think is so commercial, but it's exactly what I like to listen too.

He's not a front runner in my opinion. He's had a couple of really good performances but I don't consider him a front runner. I didn't really like this performance, I thought it was kind of boring for some reason. But, he did sing pretty good, besides the goat sound's lol.

Well, Casey has mad vocal skills as well as guitar skills! He could win this thing, seriously.

He'll do well fronting a band.
