I loved this performance by Casey. For me it was his best yet and the best of the night. It was so heart felt.

I agree with Raymond that next week is going to be a naibiter. No matter how good Casey is (and he's consistently from very good to excellent every week) everyone must vote. I live outside the US so can't so am relying on all the Casey supporters to keep him safe.

what gay rumors??? i've been watching the clip for like 50 times and i utterly don't know what you guys are talking bout Randy joked with him bout being gay and stuff??? and even if Randy did, it's SOOOO NOT TRUE!!! he's manly perfect!!! he's quiet, macho, he's not that goofy like mr. so-called Andrew, who i did not really like by the way. and you can't compare his personalities to Adam Lambert!!! for Adam, you could just get a lot of clues for the gay things based on pretty much his performances!!! take one of his, Ring Of Fire. then come back and watch all Casey's videos!!! and i'm so glad to see all of these great comments about Casey, which means there are lots of Casey fans out there, including me, A BIG BIG CASEY FAN!!! and for those who said that they didn't like him until this very moment, you might wanna consider going back and try to get him and his musics then you'll see what i'm talkin bout. i betcha!!! go Casey!!! and for the Casey fans, next week, double elimination, please don't ever forget to vote for him!!! he's superb already, but weeks like that's always a risky business. like that elimination that Alex and Lilly got voted off. i'm not in America so i can't vote!!! but please keep our favorite save!!!

Casey is amazing. I love him with an acoustic guitar,based on his last night's performance? yeah,he became a contender.
I think,he changed the game.He's handsome,soulful and fantastic.

Didn't watch the show last night, so catching up here. Casey's clip was the only one, other than Crystal's, that I listened to all of the way through...And I'm now listening to Casey twice!!! So good. Agree with the person that commented this was his "moment".

I can't wait to own this song! Best of the night for sure! Loved his vocals but when he played that one lick on the guitar in the beginning, I knew it was going to be awesome! I can't get over how much his guitar playing keeps drawing me in!

Absolutely incredible. He is so enjoyable to watch and listen to every week, and this week was no let down, in fact I think it was his bet yet. Can't wait to see what he does next week. It is rare contestants like Casey who make this show worth watching.

Top 3-5 performance for last 3 years, i say that to be nice to other fans. For me its 2nd behind Imagine.

I fully expected a standing O by atleast 1 judge. Instead it was just a bunch of useless rambling. Useless oxygen waster Randy with his lame pitchy comment-fire that loser jeez.

He was so far beyond everyone tonight. The judges reallllly dissapointed me.

That was sexy. (anyone else think so?) The last time I deemed an idol performance as sexy was when Michael Johns sang "It's All Wrong but It's Alright." But although the lyrics are innocent, his performance was very sensual, and I loved it! Keep at it, Casey!

I really, really enjoyed this. I hadn't been taking him very seriously, but this performance really impressed me. Great job!

I am an oldster but was not familiar with that song. Casey did a better job of showing the potential of his voice tonight, and has moved into the top two for me.

YES! Casey finally showed some raw emotion! That is what he's been lacking up to now. This was gorgeous. I agree that he changed the song up to the point where I barely recognized it, but that didn't bother me. It all worked. My fav of the night!!!

This man has been consistently great until tonight...tonight, he was stellar! I loved that he picked a song which may not be that recognizable to younger listeners but really fit his style, and his emotion was raw! PEFECT. But I thought the comments by the other contestants were rather mean....

I agree with hk, was it suppose to be Lennon/McCartney Beatles or songs written by either John Lennon and/or Paul McCartney. If it the later as Casey did a solo song then there are over 1,000 songs for the 9 contestants to pick from and other choices would have made sense for many of these contestants. I mean I could hear Big Mike singing Let Me Roll it from the Band on the Run album or Watching the Wheels by Lee. I don't know; I felt it was wrong to do a solo song when Lennon/McCartney (Beatles) have over 250 songs to pick from. My humble opinion; take it or leave it.

Not only was it by far the best of the night but one of my favorite performances of the past 4 seasons.

Really liked this performance. Loved the raw emotion he gave even if it wasn't pitch perfect. It almost sounded better being a little off. Definately dug this performance.

He's a serious threat. He's cute and he's a musician.

I'm sorry but some of you are horrible at critiquing music. Like I really wanna strangle some people when they say someone like Casey was horrible and Aaron was good. You must seriously be smoking something good if that's honestly what you think.

Honestly though for Casey's performance the arrangement was great. I loved how the guitar and cello complimented each other nicely. It just all worked for me.
