Way to go Casey!!!! He reminds me of Taylor Hicks, not looks but the way he sings. When Taylor sings, he feels the music and that is how Casey is. He really feels the music and it is like he is in his own little world. He was born to be the next American Idol. I would love to buy his cds if he gets famous and I hope "Your Song" will be in his first CD. Luv yah muuuuuaaaahhhhh!

My favorite of the night! His voice has a really beautiful tone, and his phrasing is exemplary. Well done, well done.

Casey was great last night. Back to his best in performing. I hope he wins.

Now I know why he did all that growling in previous weeks (and couldn't you tell he was itching to do it again tonight by his jaw clenching?) - he's pretty forgettable without it.

If Simon were here (so sorry to bring that up) he would have called it "Boring, predictable, forgettable and screamy. I can't believe anyone is actually eating this up. It really wasn't that good."

And seriously, it wasn't. People are just going jack crazy over it because he got the save. This still doesn't live up to his Hollywood week performance.

I think Casey did what he needed to do this week. Show America his real side. I don't get why he derailed so much for the past two weeks. He is not going to win, but he may end up Idol being one of the most beloved contestants on the show. I just hope he can get to at least top 5 and at some point in the competition play a jazzy tune with the bass.

i was smiling, and teary and clapping and smiling and just glad. i'm glad Casey picked that song. Thanks Rickey is the BEZT !

Wonderful guy, might become an interesting member of a band and a songwriter--but he will never be a strong lead vocalist. Just go to Youtube and listen to Elton John's original or live versions. Or for heaven's sake listen to Ewan McGregor's version for Moulin Rouge--and that's not great. If you don't believe me, listen to Casey's take via headphones. Could this be on the radio? No. He failed to hold the melody. It's crazy that we're down to 11 singers on the number 1 show in America and so few can sing a simple melody.

It's too bad Bruno Mars never did idol. This stuff would be so easy for him.

Now i know why love is wonderful, thanks to you Casey. AWESOME!

Wow he really has a nice voice! The sensitive side of Casey s till coming out after last week's wake up call. I still prefer his jazzy side, and hope he brings that back soon, but this was a very nice performance.

This was absolutely the perfect song choice for him to redeem himself. It was so emotional and sincere, first time I teared up all season.

I think it was good for him that he was voted out last week and saved. It's like someone knocks him on the head to remind him to sing not try to do some experiment. Good job Casey.

I'm glad Casey really sang tonight. I don't know what happened to him in the last two weeks, but I'm glad he is back. He doesn't have the best voice in the bunch, but when he feels it he makes you feel it too. The last 30 seconds were pure brilliance. Loved it!

I liked his song but there was one point near the end, once again, where he contorted his face and sounded like he was having a hard time taking a dump. Should not be confused with real emotion.

This guy wouldn't make a good zit on Elton John's behind. Horrible performance. The judges should have never saved this mediocre (at best) singer.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Casey was my favorite tonight so far. He sang for once, really sang! He was tender, emotional, SINCERE and so beautiful. Good job, Casey. You made me a fan tonight.

Casey was awesome. I was hoping he'd sto growling and sing a song and this was the perfect way to sing the perfect song that will justify why he was saved. Brilliant.

Really , good! I have to say I'm so glad for the trimmed beard and the slight change in the hairstyle, he was looking angry before. Must nicer. My husband loves his singing but said last week he looked kinda like the unibomber ( sorry it was my hubby not me)
