Cami Bradley – Believe – America’s Got Talent 8

Cami Bradley sang “Believe” by Cher on America’s Got Talent 8 in Radio City Music Hall.

Great song choice from her. I really enjoyed this.

Ella from XFactor UK last year did the MOST amazing version of this song......can't be beat.

@mamashmoiYes, at 16 Ella was/is a major talent and reminds me (at least in appearance) of Adele.  Here are two performances of "Believe", the second at the UK's National TV Awards being by far the best.

As to whether Ella's renditions are better than Cami's, I'll let others be the judge of that.  I enjoyed them both, but would have preferred having Cami stand up and leave the piano during at least the last half of the song.

Communicating by text is very difficult and is subject to many academic research sources (Social Sciences) as being open to misinterpretation.  Posting comments in the moment is what it is, a moments thought captured for others to interpret in so many different ways.  Ella is a very young and memorable performer who in the moment took her performance to another level, singing this song, like no one else had ever possibly could have interpret. That I believe is called creative skill. She was only 16 at the time and still amazes me.

@KatManFoSho You were right about Ella stating " I tried to put..."etc was already in the clip.  So good work in expanding the discussion. Great research. I am sure the audience here would benefit from this information.  For my part I agree with original comments.

As to questioning integrity? I don't get where you interpreted that in any of our comments.

@KatManFoSho Oh no, I am so sorry: I totally miscommunicated! Please don't hate....I wasn't questioning her integrity at all! I think she's amazing and was so impressed with her and her guts auditioning with her original song. I was in tears when she sang. I apologize, but I guess we can all notice little details about performances and not intend it to be mean....especially because we all discuss performances on here and we all have different opinions. Truce?

@mamashmoi@realGaryy- In the X Factor performance clip provided above she says, "I tried to put my twist on it."  That would definitely indicate to me she made the changes/alterations herself. So, are questioning her integrity?

As to your self-proclaiming nitpicking, I find it a bit strange and totally uncalled for.  Especially after it was you who originally broadcast her version of the song as "can't be beat".  Ii therefore makes no sense for you to turn around an berate any part of her effort.  Considering her accent, I personally found nothing distracting regarding her pronunciation and emphasis on the word "love."

@mamashmoi @KatManFoSho I believe Ella created her own spin on this song. Barlow and company were all taken back by her original performance. If I recall correctly Ella mentioned it in one of the lead in teases - before the original performance. I may find it in my library and post it later. : )
