California Girl Stuns With Four-Chair Turning Performance on The Voice 9 (VIDEO)

Californian Lyndsey Elm earned a four-chair turn with a stunning rendition of “Lips Are Movin'” by Meghan Trainor on Emmy winner The Voice 9!

This is instantly one of my favorite auditions this season. I thought the production was setting her up to be a fodder audition to fill time, but I actually think she could be a true contender to go far. Her arrangement was just so refreshing, and she has charisma and stage presence for days! Watch Lyndsey Elm’s blind audition video below:

Results: All four judges turned their chairs! Lyndsey chose to join Team Gwen Stefani!

I wasn’t expecting that. I think Lyndsey did make a smart choice in coach, since Gwen is likely to fight for her and give her a lot more chances to develop than the other coaches would have, probably. Lyndsey says she was thinking Pharrell, but Gwen’s words really spoke to her.
