Britney Spears was ‘Toxic’ on The X Factor – Report
So it looks like Britney Spears is getting the boot from The X Factor. Simon Cowell and his minions have been leaking all kinds of bad press about Britney these past few days — which is his modus operandi when it comes to his shows.
I’m a bit disgusted really. He pinned the fortunes of The X Factor on Britney’s superstardom, then when he failed to deliver on his show for a second year in a row, he is now blaming her. Bad form.
From NY Daily News:
Britney Spears has been for months exhibiting signs of her old, not-so-stable behavior behind the scenes at “The X Factor” and during a commercial she filmed for her new perfume, Fantasy Twist.
“She acts like she has a different contract than everyone else,” a source tells Confidenti@l. “She shows up late, she wanders around aimlessly and she is in her own world. She wasn’t ready for this responsibility.”
The source adds that the “Toxic” singer, who earned $15 million for her single-season run as a talent judge, reportedly let down her boss, Simon Cowell. He expected Spears, who’s on the verge of being canned, to draw huge ratings for his show, which debuted in the fall of 2011.
“First, she wanted the producers to fly Vanilla Ice in to duet with her, which was just weird. They called him and he wanted $500,000, so that wasn’t going to work,” says the source. “Then, she demanded that exotic animals be flown in to be in the video and they had to tell her that that wasn’t going to work for legal reasons and insurance reasons. She wanted to do her own makeup and when she would get it done, she would just mess it up on top of what they did.”

Got Something to Add?
I have to agree with Jenny Mendoza (^). We shouldn't blame Simon for everything. He also has bosses to please and if the bosses aren't pleased with Britney, what can he do?
Seriously Simon? You brought her there, you are responsible. Cooky Brit still wouldn't have brought in the ratings rather than a reserved Brit who did sometimes give good criticisms with a sense of humor.
The part about "She acts like she has a different contract" got me. I mean, in a sense, didn't she? smh.
