Woe is me. I’m blogging from a client’s computer just to get the word out that I am incommunicado until Time Warner gets its act together. How unacceptable is a repairman coming at the soonest Tuesday? Anyway, I’m letting my anger slide since, well, I’m better off doing other things than being angry.

The wireless Internet that I thought I could mooch off of from my neighbor/s is also not working. So, I have been silenced by technical anomalies yet again. I miss you guys. But I shall return! You can’t put a good boy down forever. See you in a couple of days or sooner.

Again like Mandisa, Simon said Chris Daughtry was indulgent. A shame really. On previous nights they would praise Chris for “sticking to his sound” and now all of a sudden, that’s bad. This is what happens when you remove someone like Kevin Covais from the equation. The show becomes unbelievable boring, you have to start inventing stuff and dissing people so that there’s still a semblance of competition. I’m going out on a limb and say that they will eliminate Lisa Tucker finally for being the first one to sing on a very forgettable night. But the Chris Daughtry dissing was kinda off, and quite obviously scripted. C’mon producers, we know it’s scripted, just don’t make it so obvious, and flat-out wrong. Chris Daughtry ROCKS! \m/ \m/

Simon said Man-DIVA was being indulgent. I kinda agree simply because I just can’t get into the spirit since I’m not into that kind of stuff. But I still love Mandisa. I wouldn’t mind hanging out with her. The show just felt a bit of a free-for-all, with everyone trying to impose their sound (and views) upon us, the viewers.

Update: Okay sensitive Christians don’t be sensitive. Try not to take American Idol too seriously ok? If someone expresses an opinion, please don’t take it personally if it doesn’t agree with your own beliefs. I just didn’t like the fact that I was caught off guard and all of a sudden getting preached the gospel, while trying to watch escapist fare on tv. Taking advantage of the millions of viewers of Idol to send out your “message” is indulgent. There’s nothing wrong, I just felt uncomfortable. Did I bash Christianity? Of course not. Did I bash Mandisa? Of course not. Was I uncomfortable with the performance? Yes. Does it make me like Mandisa less? No. Will I be misunderstood yet again? Yes. Didn’t you promise not to talk about religion or race a few months ago on this blog? Yes. Then why did you do it? I don’t know. So don’t talk about religion anymore. Ok. Did the Christians think Kevin Covais was the spawn of the devil? Good question. Do you think some of them will miss the humor in this? Yes. Should you just break out into song? Yeah.

My brother visited New York City with his friends three weeks ago and I promised that I would post our picture together in my blog. So here it is. Hello friends and pharmaceutical people!

That day was interesting because while looking for them in Rockefeller Center, I spotted Daniel Franco of Project Runway! He was nice enough to pose for me, but then I realized that it would have been better if I was in the picture, since I am an obscure-celebrity hound, but I guess what I had will do.
