Wow, U2, lip-syncing to an upcoming hit, All Because of You, on a flatbed, going down Columbus Avenue. It looked like they were filming the video, but they were mobbed anyway. A truck driver even stopped beside them to get an autograph.

It was actually a time to reflect (as well as take pictures… thank you Nikon). It was many many years ago that I first listened to Sunday Bloody Sunday on some underground radio station in the Philippines. That moment and then now — you don’t really believe that its possible to be that close to a celebrity until it happens. Of course, I could always chase them and watch a concert, but it’s not everyday that U2 comes to town on a flatbed while on your lunch break.
