Axed ‘X Factor’ Contestant Honey G Writes Touching Letter to Finalists

Last week, Honey G was sent home from The X Factor UK by the judges in a majority decision. However, the rapper left a classy letter for her fellow finalists on her way out.

Emily Middlemas shared a photo of the letter, and although it does feature Saara Alto’s name being misspelled, it’s still a very sweet letter from a woman who, in Simon Cowell’s own words, is one of the nicest people they’ve ever had on the show.

“Dear Emily, Matt, Sara and 5AM, I just wanted to say what a pleasure it has been working/living with you all! You are all winners in my eyes, and incredibly unique in your own way. I am sure you will all go very far & I truly hope you all get what you wish for! Best of luck to you all! See you at the final! Love Honey G xxx””

Sure, you can still make the argument that she should never have gone through to the live shows, but it’s really hard for me to dislike Honey G, especially after she does cool stuff like visit children and write encouraging notes to the people who outlasted her in the competition.
