Astro to collaborate with Willow Smith, signed by Jay-Z?

Media Take Out reports that Astro has been signed with Jay-Z’s record label Roc-Nation. The site says that the label is working feverishly to get Astro on to Willow Smith’s new track.

OMG I hope this is true! Did you guys notice Astro’s demeanor last night on The X Factor elimination show? He was very calm! Looks like he knew something we didn’t know. What do you guys think?

Who cares who signs him u p? I will not buy anything he sings, or with whom, or go to a concert where he is the main attraction...I wish him well...but Willow Smith will be a good fit with him, he can play with his kids during and after the show...after all, Willow Smith's kids have as much talent as Astro...mediocre...but because of the Willow Smith name they still are thought of as talented...for real????

I've grown to like this talented young boy so much! I've never been a big fan of rap music, but Astro got me rooting for him every week. I love how mature he is for his age, and whenever he performs, he's a natural on stage. All the best, Astro! Looking forward to seeing you get out there and continue doing what you do best!

Well, I'm not surprise that he's instantly signed. You'd have to be blind or prejudiced to not see that Astro is uber-talented.

He's too good for Willow Smith, but you gotta start out somewhere.

It's obviously not true. I really wish people would use their common sense. Just like with Idol the contestants cannot sign with a label since they all signed a contract that prohibits them from doing so since the label connected with the show has first option. In this case it's Simon's label/Sony

Roc Nation is a label under Sony, so is Syco so there's a possibility Astro can co-sign a deal. Also this isn't IDOL. For all we know X Factor might do things differently when concerning contracts.

Astro is a very talented kid congrats to him for having a record deal I will always n forever support him with all of his music this kid will surely have a bright future ahead of him like Astro says "five years I will be bigger n more famous than Kanye West" love his attitude n confidence in him much love to all the AstronomicalKid supporter out there

The first time I heard him I knew that he wasn't going to win but he was on his way to bigger and better things. He reminds you of Jay-z and Kanye West. It's funny that you have haters of a 15 year old who has more sense then most adults. Give credit where credit is due

I couldn't care less. I thought he was an arrogant punk full of his self-importance when all he had was a mediocre talent that got blown up out of proportion. On top of that, the kid can't sing. He's a one-trick pony that quickly got tiring. Good riddance!

Yes, is seemed like Astro was confident about something. If not that label, then LA will produce him. If Astro teams up with Willow, there are two that I will never see or listen to. Can't stand either one of them. But, I bet there is a market for them.
