Aretha Franklin Set to Perform at Whitney Houston’s Funeral
As the dust settles following the tragic passing of Whitney Houston, funeral arrangements are in full motion. The funeral is set for this Saturday, February 18 at New Hope Baptist Church in New Jersey.
It is being reported that Aretha Franklin was asked my music mogul Clive Davis to perform at the services.

While the details for Whitney Houston’s New Jersey burial are still being arranged, ET has exclusively learned that music mogul Clive Davis personally asked Whitney’s godmother, R&B legend Aretha Franklin, to perform at the funeral.
A source adds that Aretha’s response to this momentous request was, “How could I say no?”
