So Wiener DID show the wiener! I hadn't heard that yet. ;-) What gets me is that he lied so blatantly last week to several different people. He'd look them right in the eye and have the AUDACITY to become indignant! How dare people accuse him of such a thing?
And his poor wife. She's the one I feel sorry for. If a politician would lie to his wife, why should we trust him? Then again, look who I'm talking about! That's the nature of the beast.
Beyond that ... just how stupid was this maneuver? I'd like my congressman to have a little more brains than this.

Everyone has things they need to work on. However, how many people would accuse others of lying and try to get others in trouble? It took him a week of false accusations and lies before he finally confessed. Also, this guy used government phones and computers paid for by taxpayers to do his dirty deeds. That makes it more than just a personal indisression. It makes it a crime punishable by prison. I feel sorry for his wife.

This story is truly priceless. I mean, I have absolutely no problem with what politicians or anybody else is doing in their private life. But considering Mr. Weiner knows, this is the US of A, where big parts of the public expects their politicians to live by Puritan values, this is so incredibly stupid. Putting nude pictures of yourself online, ok, but with the face showing, really, when you are a public figure?!?

What is so funny to me is that he was one of the hardest liberals, most vocal about his political positions. I don't believe in beating people when they are down, but this guy tried to get other people in trouble by lying about them to save himself. He doesn't deserve to be in office. Yep, he's done if things are right in the world. Who wants this guy making decisions for other people? Who could trust anything coming from a guy like that? And he JUST got married? His wife should leave him.
