Anne Hathaway cut her hair really short for her role as Fantine in Les Miserables. She’s also been eating less — like 500 calories a day. Omigosh.

They already said this is a lie and she's eating more than 500 calories a day. She has lost some weight for the role, however, but she was so thin, it wouldn't take much - and I've seen her thinner, without a role!
