America’s Got Talent to add fourth judge
The NY Post reports that America’s Got Talent will have a fourth judge next season.
The show is moving to New York with the addition of Howard Stern as judge, and Simon Cowell thinks that adding a fourth judge — “a girl” — will make the show “younger” and “relevant”.
I’m all for this idea, but please don’t let it be Nicole Scherzinger (who may not be back on The X Factor). As soon as NBC finds a venue, I think I’ll try to watch the live shows every week if I can. I’m so excited.
The report:
From NY Post:
‘America’s Got Talent’ will undergo an extreme makeover — and will add a fourth judge to join Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel.
“I always like four-person panels because it leaves less room for error,” show creator Simon Cowell told The Post. “It also means you can have different skill-sets on there.”
With Stern joining the show last week, Cowell says he and NBC are looking to balance the judges’ table out with “somebody younger. A girl. Someone who will not be afraid of Sharon [Osbourne] and Howard and fight for a different type of act than they would.”
Cowell says he already has a short list of names and hopes to have the entire panel in place in the next four weeks.

I would think somebody connected to the theater or television, and based in NYC. Younger could mean mid 30's to mid 40's, considering the other three are on a high end of their 50's.
If Simon hires Nic-ho, then it's safe to say the phony has dirt on him. I never want to see that idiotic skank on any show again, and clearly many viewers feel the same.

Howard Stern will be a huge step in the right direction. I just cannot handle Howie Mandel or the host and his ridiculous manner of speech. But I'll give it a try with Stern. For sure. He'll be tamer but good as a judge. Hi Rickey. :)
