American Idol to premiere in theaters nationwide on January 9

Sure, you can always make popcorn at home, but the fine folks at American Idol are hoping you’ll want to watch the premiere a big bucket of buttery goodness in select AMC theaters nationwide on Wednesday, January 9. The advanced screening of the twelfth season premiere will be followed by a live Q&A via satellite with Ryan Seacrest, Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban that will stream live on AmericanIdol.com and LiveStream.com.
The event promotes interactivity, as fans can submit questions for the stars now via the American Idol Facebook page (www.facebook.com/americanidol) and via Twitter (@AmericanIdol). Questions may also be submitted on the day of the event via Twitter using #Idol. In addition, fans watching the LIVE Q&A stream at the satellite venues will have the opportunity to submit questions to the panel live.
This premiere event is FREE to all! But there’s a catch: You have to RSVP for a spot, and seating is first-come, first-served. So click here, find your location on the map, and reserve yourself a seat ASAP. Your butt will thank you.
