‘American Idol’ Star Casey Abrams Sings Rihanna In the Rain With Postmodern Jukebox (VIDEO)

American Idol star Casey Abrams is back working with Postmodern Jukebox once again! This time, it’s a performance that’s ideal for a rainy day. Or a sunny one. You know, whichever. It’s delightful no matter what’s happening outside your window.

Casey and the fine folks of Postmodern Jukebox deliver a swing-style cover of Rihanna’s iconic 2007 hit “Umbrella,” alongside tap-dancing duo The Sole Sisters (Sarah Reich and Melinda Sullivan) in a music video that would probably make Gene Kelly envious, considering how much this track takes its cues from the classic 1952 film Singin’ in the Rain. This is an absolutely wonderful cover, and further illustrates why Postmodern Jukebox is one of the most exciting, fun music channels on YouTube. Watch the full video below:
