‘American Idol can’t afford Mariah Carey’ says Nick Cannon – Video

Nick Cannon tells TMZ that American Idol will have to pay Mariah Carey double what they paid Jennifer Lopez if they want her to judge the show next season. That’s double $20 million!

So I guess it’s safe to say that Mimi is NOT in play at this point since American Idol is rumored to be downsizing for Season 12.

My picks for judges: Randy Jackson, Adam Lambert and Aretha Franklin. Perfect.

Wish they would pay her double and just get it over with -____-; put her up there with Aretha Franklin and Adam Lambert and it would be the first singing competition with a majority of females on the judging panel :] Would actually kinda make it awesome if Miley were added on too or she replaced Lambert.
