American Idol 11 Top 3 – Homecoming Schedules

After weeks and weeks of auditions and live performances, American Idol has narrowed down the playing field to the Top 3. This can mean only one thing: hometown visits! The remaining contestants Phillip Phillips, Joshua Ledet and Jessica Sanchez are headed back to their hometowns for the biggest celebration of their lives.

Each contestant will make several public appearances, take part in a parade, and perform a free concert for their fans.

Phillips‘ celebration kicks off on Friday night when he makes the grand return to Leesburg, Georgia. Here’s his schedule:

Friday, May 11, 2012 – 10 PM arrival (roughly) – Eagles of America near the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport, fans can bring signs

Saturday, May 12, 2012 - 10 AM – Local Cumulus building, radio tour on Broad Avenue, followed by a stop at his dad’s pawn shop

2:30 PM – Homecoming Parade down Highway 32 from Starksville Avenue to the Lee County High School

3:oo PM - Free concert, Lee County High School Football Stadium

Ledet will return to Westlake, Louisiana! Here is his homecoming schedule:

Saturday, May 12, 2012 - Noon – Homecoming Parade, down Sampson Street

6 PM – Pep rally and concert, Burton Coliseum, located at 7001 Gulf Highway in Lake Charles, only 7,900 passes to the event are available

Possible appearance (not confirmed) - Contraband Days, Louisiana Pirate Festival

Sanchez will be making a big return to San Diego, Calif.! Here is what her schedule looks like:

Saturday, May 12, 2012 - 10:15 AM – Homecoming Parade, southbound Eastlake Parkway from Otay Lakes Road to Clubhouse Drive

11:30 AM - Concert, Eastlake High School football stadium, 6,000 person capacity

2-3 PM - The deck of the U.S.S. Midway Museum at downtown’s Broadway Pier, admission limited to the first 3,500

Excited to jessica. , whoa! 6000 stadium capacity- that woudnt be enough. , i heard there will be guest singers to support her idol homecoming. , excited excited excited

@Klope62 @Mikhail XO No it was Paige Miles! She was a huge disappointment. Her big voice never materialized at any point in her life during and after Idol.

Simon Fuller had better charter a fleet of jets from the Philippines for Jessica. Otherwise it's going to look like Kat McPee's homecoming. Perhaps they'll use CGI ;-D

@rezzzy @Lombe Maybe the "Dirty Shamchez's" (get the play on words here : "sham" sub for "san"), or the "dirty Scamchez's" . Are those diabolical enough? I'm not really the creative sort. I'll ask my work chums for suggestions :-)
