AMC reveals summer premiere schedule, including ‘Breaking Bad’, ‘The Killing’, more

Breaking Bad‘s days have officially been numbered.

The last eight episodes of the AMC drama’s fifth and final season will premiere on Sunday, Aug. 11 at 9 pm.

In addition, AMC has confirmed a weekly spin-off/discussion show for Breaking Bad, similar to The Walking Dead companion show Talking Dead. Talking Bad will air at 11 pm, an hour after each new Breaking Bad episode, while new crime drama Low Winter Sun will air in between at 10 pm.

Meanwhile, the cable network also confirmed that Season 3 of The Killing will premiere on June 2 while the third season of Hell on Wheels bows on August 3.

Other programming tidbits via TVLine:

*New reality series Showville — in which a traveling talent show visits small towns across the country — bows Thursday, March 23 at 9 pm.
* Season 2 of The Pitch launches on Thursday, August 15 at 10 pm.
* Talking Dead, Comic Book Men and Freakshow have all been renewed.
* The network is developing Cancelled, an unscripted series in which six households “will be outfitted with cameras that will give them the chance to compete for ‘ratings’ that will determine which household has the most-watched reality show.”
