The first half of the final season of Mad Men and the debut of Better Call Saul have received their official premiere dates from AMC.

Mad Men will return Sunday, April 13 at 10 p.m. The final 14 episodes of the acclaimed series will be split, with seven episodes to air in 2014, and the final seven to air in 2015. The split strategy was utilized to great success with the final season of Breaking Bad, and AMC is hoping to duplicate that success with this move, although it remains to be seen whether the more methodical narrative of Mad Men will lend itself to a split season strategy.

The other big news is AMC’s announcement of the premiere for its Breaking Bad spin-off: although no specific date was announced, AMC has confirmed that Better Call Saul will premiere this November.

Other announcements: The Walking Dead will return for the second half of Season 4 on February 9, while the arm-wrestling docu-drama Game of Arms will have its series premiere on February 25. Revolutionary War spy thriller Turn, starring Jamie Bell as a farmer who becomes a spy for George Washington, will premiere on April 6. Meanwhile, the third season of Small Town Security will premiere in May along with the second season of Freakshow. Lastly, the 1980s computer drama Halt and Catch Fire will premiere in June.

Although some of these new shows have yet to be proven, AMC is certainly stacking its schedule with what is, on paper, one hell of a lineup.
