Today's the day that I could see someone else doing Kerry Ellis' rock version of "I'm Not That Girl" and sing it well.

Just saw the group number with Amanda, Nicholas, Trevin and Cody.  Amanda was the only one I'd be willing to see in concert - she was on a different level than the others.  She rocked.

Amanda has a good voice. I just don't know who she is as a singer. She's trying really hard but the song  arrangement doesn't sell me. She might have the wrong coach.

Well, she did what she could with it - considering everyone in the world has sung a cover. Atlleast it didn't sound copy-cat.  I hope people vote for her!!!

@digitalpunkdiva She stated during the Top 10/12 that she sees herself as an alternative artist. She sang two Grace Potter songs on the show and made Someone Like You more rock, a song by The Zutons and another from Florence. Right now, we're back at a place where indie rock and alternative are pretty much interchangeable so I guess that's who she is as a singer.

@digitalpunkdiva I agree. The band and music totally overshadowed her voice. Whenever she lets people hear her voice, she does well. I feel Adam let her down telling her to change this song. Why do the cover if you feel it's been sung too many times only to take away what people love about this song, it's emotion.

@digitalpunkdiva In Idol terms, Tamyra Gray meets Nadia Turner. Not sure if there's a market for that, but I enjoy it.
