Adam Lambert announces new single in October

American Idol Season 8 superstar Adam Lambert announced on Twitter yesterday that his new single will come out in October. He is 90% sure of that. He also said that the album will come out “early 2012″. How exciting!

Since he’s only 90% sure, I think this single will come out in November or December. Maybe we’ll get a leak and he’ll release it sooner.

I’m working hard this week and next to finish up all these amazing new tunes! Thank you all for staying patient… I’m excited too!

I’m 90% sure the first single will be out next month (ish) album coming early 2012! … There is still lots of work to be done but I promise: you won’t be disappointed!

I doubt Adam has any say in choosing release dates. Not a great sign that the label is choosing to NOT release the album during the Xmas shopping season.
