Abstinence-Only Sex Education Passes In The Utah House by a vote of 45-28. The bill would lift the current requirement that all public schools must teach sex ed in grades 8 through 12 in Utah public schools.

We’ve been culturally watered down to think we have to teach about sex, about having sex and how to get away with it, which is intellectually dishonest. Why don’t we just be honest with them upfront that sex outside marriage is devastating?

wtf is this and wtf is happening? I really do not understand how anyone, particularly 45 adults in a courthouse could believe to any degree that not teaching kids about sex would solve any sex-related problems that we are facing in the nation. Ignorance is not the cure to anything and it will just lead to more teenage pregnancies, more unsafe practices, more STDs, and more risky experimentation.

I’m just stunned that this bill is just about half-way there. Stunned.

I don't understand the extreme religious people. Their policies and belief doesn't work at all!! Why they continue to insist all of us to go their way?? It's like they don't have brain anymore.

Aprilj one of my friends actually suggested maybe we should just give up and split the country in half. The tea baggers, evangelicals, Mormons etc could then just fight amongst themselves and leave us alone :>

My prediction is that each state is going to continue to push WAAAAAAAAAAY Right or WAAAAAAAAAAY Left and the people will just have to choose which state they prefer to live in. Then.... a civil war.
