Aaron got a bad rap this week. I thought this was a very solid performance for him; he worked the stage, showed personality, voice sounded great. I sure wish some of these contestants could dance tho (I almost miss Todrick!)

I don't see why Ellen said this was the most iconic Elvis song. When Elvis did it he was covering Carl Perkins. Anyway, I mostly liked what Aaron did, I think at the end he went under where he meant to go maybe because he was having voice trouble. But it was good. He could kick Bieber's ass six ways to Sunday. I hope he sticks around.

I like him. I didn't love it, but I liked it & I only liked about 4 performances out of the 9 tonight. Like someone else said, I want him to stick around for country week when Shania is the mentor or whatever I heard. That would suck if he left before he got to do country week. Good luck Aaron!

didnt see this yet but voteeee for him. because its country week soon and he needs to be there, i'm sick of country singers getting voted out right before country week haha.
He can go after country week, I don't care, I like him but he's not gonna win and isn't good enough yet, but please just let him be there for country week XD

I hope he gets chance to do country week and maybe sing Patsys "Crazy" which Ive heard him do and its AMAZING!!!

hmmm... well, I hate to say this but I think that song fit his voice well. great performance.

If you can't see Aaron you'd be surprised that this voice belongs to him....I think it's strong for his age and size.... imo.....stage presence needs work.....but come on....he just turned 17

Its interesting reading the main idol forums on American Idol website.....alot of people feel Aaron was greatly underrated tonight......and many like myself feel he has one of the best and most distinct voices this year!!

The judges weren't impressed, but this is the first time I've actually liked Aaron's performance. It's the first time he put some grit into his voice. He looked more confident too and I agree with Adam that Aaron needs to believe more in himself.

Aaron is a good singer, i want that he continue in the show... he need a little more for make a fantastic perfomer.. but im fan of hin Yeah Aaron you can!

i can't believe Simon didn't like it, for me, it's the best so far. This kid is talented and not boring.
