Nathan Trasoras and Mollee Gray dance Pop Jazz on So You Think You Can Dance

Go Nathan! 1-888-TEMPO-07
Adam Shankman: “It’s the extra stuff that will take you to the top.”

Ellenore Scott and Ryan Di Lello dance Contemporary on So You Think You Can Dance
Music: Your Ex-Lover’s Dead by Stars
Choreography: Travis Wall
Go Travis Wall! (Stage rant: There was only one camera angle that the background and lighting looked good — when the cameras switched it was jarring and just took away from the great choreography. This stage is killing this show every week.)
Adam Shankman: “Travis, it was incredible craftsman-like use of your tools.”
Mary Murphy: “Travis is just growing in leaps and bounds, I’m so proud of you Travis.”
Nigel Lythgoe: “Travis, what a complete asset you are on Season 6.”

Music: Pursuit from Ka (Cirque de Soleil)
Choreography: Tony Meredith
GO LEGACY! 1-888-TEMPO-05

Nigel Lythgoe: “Legacy, everytime I see you, you are always practicing.”

Victor Smalley and Channing Cooke dance Jazz on So You Think You Can Dance
Music: Blackbird by Bobby McFerrin
Choreography: Tyce Diorio
During practice, Victor got poked in the eye and got stitches!
Adam Shankman: “Tyce this was an incredibly smart routine. Bobby McFerrin is a great musician.”
Mary Murphy: “Tyce I just love love this concept. It was such a fun piece.”
Nigel Lythgoe: “Channing, I felt you let it go.”

Russell Ferguson and Noelle Marsh dance Foxtrot on So You Think You Can Dance
Music: Baby by Michael Buble
Choreography: Eddie Simon
Second Foxtrot for Russell! Is he really a Krumper? I think he’s a contemporary dancer who can krump. Why do the judges sound so blind to me now?
Adam Shankman: “You understood your task and you met it.”
Mary Murphy: “Noelle you were flowing along.”
Nigel Lythgoe: “You’ve vastly improved in 2 weeks Russell.”

Karen Hauer and Kevin Hunte dance Broadway on So You Think You Can Dance
Music: If My Friends Could See Me Now from Sweet Charity
Choreography: Spencer Liff
Kevin is such a faker. He’s not really a street dancer.
Adam Shankman: “Spencer great combination of staccato movement!”
Mary Murphy: “The whole thing seemed nice and fairly safe.”
Nigel Lythgoe: “I didn’t enjoy your performance Karen.”

Russell Ferguson and Noelle Marsh dance Afro Jazz on So You Think You Can Dance
Music: Frog Dance
Choreography: Sean Cheesman
Wow that roll! So good. Go Russell.
Adam Shankman: “It had character and story.”
Mary Murphy: “That was really crazy good.”
Nigel Lythgoe: “I still can’t believe that you have these fantastic lines, Russell.”

Music: Quimbara by Celia Cruz!
Choreography: Gustavo Vargas
Ok, as much as I love Nathan and Mollee, this really looked sloppy. There was a point where I thought Nathan might drop her! Omigosh, please save Nathan and Mollee!
Adam Shankman: “This was another one of those bad luck of the draw.”
Mary Murphy: “It was french fried.”
Nigel Lythgoe: “You chemistry for the first time was missing.”

Ellenore Scott and Ryan Di Lello dance Hip-Hop on So You Think You Can Dance
Music: Lost Boiz Anthem

Love Lil C. No comment on the dancing.
Adam Shankman: “You are the most transformed dancers.”
Mary Murphy: “For me it wasn’t great.”
Nigel Lythgoe: “I don’t think that was good at all.”

Channing Cooke and Victor Smalley dance Contemporary on So You Think You Can Dance
Music: Be Be Your Love
Choreography: Stacey Tookey
The video in the background is really distracting.
Adam Shankman: “I think this new partnership will re-invigorate you back in the competition.”
Mary Murphy: “The quality of movement was phenomenal.”
Nigel Lythgoe: “I was expecting so much more.”

Legacy Perez and Kathryn McCormick dance Broadway on So You Think You Can Dance
Music: I Wanna Be Like You
Choreography: Andy Blankenbuehler
Wow. Great routine. Go Legacy!
Adam Shankman: “Kathryn I’m sure what your character was. Legacy you are dancing like a long person.”
Mary Murphy: “Legacy you are growing in leaps and bounds.”
Nigel Lythgoe: “Kathryn this felt a little childish.”

Pauline Mata and Peter Sabastino dance the Quickstep on So You Think You Can Dance
Music: Hey Baby! (Shake THose Hula Hips)

Nigel Lythgoe: “America’s votes for performances.”

Jakob Karr and Ashleigh Di Lello dance a Jazz Duet on So You Think You Can Dance
Music: Relax by Frankie Goes To Hollywood
Choreography: Mandy Moore
Jeanine Mason is Jakob Karr’s best friend! Awesome. Go Team Jakob!
Jakob and Ashleigh showed great control with the cane. Good job.
Adam Shankman: “Ashleigh, you are so good out there.”
Mary Murphy: “It’s a perfect partnership.”
Nigel Lythgoe: “Jakob you remind me so much of the emcee from Cabaret.”

Karen Hauer and Kevin Hunte dance the Hustle on So You Think You Can Dance
Music: Come To Me by France Joli
Choreography: Maria Torres
This was a solid dance. I still doubt that Kevin is just a “street dancer” — since he looks like he has a lot of a contemporary dancer’s technique already. Karen is hot.
Adam Shankman: “You made it work for you. Kevin you just junked out at me.” (?)
Mary Murphy: “Karen you are a hustle queen.”
Nigel Lythgoe: “I am absolutely delighted with what you are doing, Kevin.”
