Mary Murphy Reveals Rape and Abuse from Ex-Husband 5
So You Think You Can Dance judge Mary Murphy revealed to US Weekly that she was abused for nine-years by her ex-husband. She said she was repeatedly raped, beaten and suffered a miscarriage.
She said a pattern developed: “A fight, then rape, then presents: a dress, a diamond bracelet, earrings. In the first year or two, I’d fight back, but eventually, I’d just lie there. Get it over with, I thought. It’ll be quick anyway.”

Iveta Lukosiute and Russell Ferguson – My New Favorite Couple – So You Think You Can Dance 10
I can see the future! I hope Iveta Lukosiute and Russell Ferguson make it to the Top 20 because they make a really hot dancing couple! Great chemistry! And it’s only the Las Vegas callbacks.
A ballroom dancer and a krumper making beautiful movement together, what’s not to love?
Just a little worried for next week though because Russell is seen crying that “It’s so hard!” on the phone. There are no tears for krumpers Russell!

So much blood this season on So You Think You Can Dance! First Leigh Asay lost a toenail yesterday during the auditions, and now, Billy Bell took a blow to the face from his partner in Las Vegas. He looked like he just came from a boxing match or something. Let’s blame Louie Van Amstel’s “fast” choreography!

After some of the results tonight in the first day of the Las Vegas Callbacks on So You Think You Can Dance Season 6, I’m afraid for Nathan Trasoras! Here’s hoping he makes it to the Top 20. The judges put Nathan through to Day 2, but I don’t know if they’re just setting him up for something next week. Go Nathan!

Leigh Asay and Josh Murillo audition for So You Think You Can Dance.
The dance was great, until Leigh discovers later that her toenail came off! OMG!
She did however get her ticket to Vegas and then went straight to the emergency room.
Toenails falling off – don’t you just hate it when that happens? Plus it’s so gross and painful. And it takes forever to grow back. Ughh.

So You Think You Can Dance – Crotch Flash – Photo Evidence Release by Fox – No Vajayjay 7
Fox released clear pictures last Thursday that the So You Think You Can Dance ‘Crotch’ Flash Video was just a figment of your imagination. Yes, contestant #22036 was wearing “flesh-colored” shorts.
Sorry to disappoint some of you guys, but you know… you can still believe that it was a vajayjay that you saw. It doesn’t really matter.
I hope contestant #22036 makes it to the Top 20. I’m so going to root for her! “The imagined vajayjay seen around the world!”

Modern Family Tops Ratings on Wednesday 1
Wow! Go “Modern Family”!
The new comedy scored a 3.7/10 in 18-49 and 9.9 million viewers overall last night. “So You Think You Can Dance had 2.7/8 in 18-49, 6.7 million viewers and “Glee” had 3.2/9 in 18-49, 7.3 million viewers. “Glee” was just 1 share out of the 18-49 lead.

Contestant #22036 falls on the floor and flashes the judges. Or did she? I think she was wearing “skin colored” tights underneath that’s why it looks like she “didn’t wear” any undies. ‘Coz if she really had nothing on, then she’s a freak of nature because she had no vajayjay. Just sayin’.

Jessica Jensen – One-Handed Lady – Audition – So You Think You Can Dance 9
Jessica Jensen had a rare form of cancer on her palm 1 1/2 years ago which led to the amputation of her hand. But this has not stopped her from dancing and auditioning on So You Think You Can Dance.
What an inspiration. I cried watching her. It was very beautiful.

So You Think You Can Dance Tour Changed My Life 6
I watched the So You Think You Can Dance tour last Thursday and it was very inspiring. While watching the show, I felt like I can go out there and be somebody!
The show consisted of dances originated on the TV show with some for-the-tour choreography. The dancers also introduced the numbers with short skits and banter. I got reminded of what Shane Sparks said to me in an interview recently that your career goals should go beyond being a dancer. I thought Kupono was a good actor — did he do theater?
Just like my observation two years ago when I watched this tour in Long Island and Portland, the audience was very well behaved and appreciative of the dances. (Also, let’s go gays!) There were many standing ovations and cheers, which rivaled that of the cheers on the American Idol tour. Philip Chbeeb and Brandon Bryant got the loudest responses after their solos.
I really loved this, and if you are a fan of the show, you should watch. The chance to cheer your favorites after every routine is worth the effort.
Afterwards, I went to the after party meet and greet as a guest of Ade Obayomi. Unlike my experience on the Idol tour, everything went smoothly. I got pictures with almost everybody!
When I met Ade, I noticed that he wore his hair pick even with short hair which was cute. I hugged him and said thanks and he said: “There’s Jason, your favorite.” Haha. Wait, I also wanted to see you Ade! (You can follow Ade Obayomi on Twitter at @ADEEVERYDAY)
Jason Glover approached us, and we posed for a picture. He did not recognize me, so while he was signing autographs I told him I was Rickey from Rickey.org. Then he said: “Thanks! You supported me when everyone was writing me off. You were the only one.” Awww. Reminded me of the time I blogged about Fantasia Barrino.
On my way out, Ryan Kasprzak spotted me and told me I was a lifesaver every time he was traveling and had no access to a TV. That really made me feel so useful! I asked: “Did you make it this season?” he replied: “I’m not allowed to say.” LOL I posed with his brother Evan, who I told: You were my pick to win. Then he said: “I was my pick too!”
Everyone I met were very nice, including Ray the security person!

- I saw Paula @ the “Power of Women” event yesterday. I asked her to come on SYTYCD again and she said she would. I hope she means it?

I think she will do it because if Paula’s Las Vegas show is scheduled for next year, she will still have time to have a screamfest with Mary Murphy in the next few months.

Shane Sparks – My Interview with ABDC Judge 4
The finale of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew will be this Sunday between “We Are Heroes” and “AfroBorike”. I talked to Shane Sparks, the main judge on the show who is also a well-known choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance.
Shane thinks “We Are Heroes” will win because he thinks they are “hot”. He mentioned that “We Are Heroes” was the pick to win from the very start.
I asked if there was a group he thought deserved to be in the Top 2, and he said “Rhythm City” deserved to stay on the show a little longer. “Rhythm City” ended up in the bottom 2 with “Massive Monkees” on the night they were eliminated.
I told him that “Vogue Evolution” was my favorite group. He said they reached their plateau on the show. After all the splits and backbends, Leiomy Maldonado would have “broken her leg” or “her head would fall off” if they lasted longer. True!

Fox is airing a “best of” episode of So You Think You Can Dance tonight at 8 PM ET featuring the “15 Best Routines Ever”.
I hope they feature something from every season, although I think they will highlight the Emmy-nominated routines, such as that bench dance with Travis Wall.
I’m trying to remember anything from Season One, and I just can’t. I think I was too fixated with Ryan Conferido at that time to notice anything else. I doubt they will feature a dance by Ryan as being “the best of”. Although I think a dance by Nick Lazzarini should be part of tonight’s show since he did win Season One.
I also demand that Danny Tidwell have a featured dance tonight.
