MTV Confirms Kris Allen Self-Titled Album Cover 1

Good job Jim Cantiello!

MTV News confirmed with 19 Entertainment that the album cover which appeared at BN.com was indeed the cover of Kris Allen’s self-titled (also confirmed) album which drops Nov. 17.

Kris Allen went to Staten Island for the photo shoot, which took place at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden on September 21, shortly after Kris debuted his single “Live Like We’re Dying” on New York’s Z100.

Loved that Jim quoted the “mess” rumors again. LOL!

MTV plans to unplug its studio overlooking Times Square at the end of the year, according to landlord SL Green, which has put the space on the market.

However, their offices will still be housed in the building.

Would have been nice to trade some ideas with Michael Slezak and Maura Johnston as well like last year, but apparently people at MTV are doing 10 things at the same time these days, and the phone-in was the best they could do. Still all good!

If you watched Tuesday night’s “American Idol,” you’re no doubt buzzing about Kris Allen’s left-field take on Kanye West’s “Heartless.” But you’re probably also talking about the actions — and comments — of Simon Cowell.

The cantankerous “Idol” judge spent the early portion of Tuesday’s show sparring with fellow judges Kara DioGuardi and Randy Jackson, and closed the night out by openly campaigning for contestant Adam Lambert, telling viewers to “take nothing for granted” and vote the flamboyant singer into next week’s finale.

I interviewed Mia Carruthers and Tyler Nelson from MTV’s Taking the Stage on Rickey TV! I was so excited!

Mia said that she met with Jive Records, but we will have to find out what happens on Thursday’s episode. She also loves Adam Lambert!

Tyler said that he is “very good friends” with Mia and she’s not his girlfriend. He also wants to join Quest Crew! Tyler’s height is 5′7″

Thanks MTV and Fanscape for the interview! It was awesome!

This show is real! I’m shocked. I love Taking the Stage!
