MTV’s Jim Cantiello breaks the news: a 2012 trailer featuring Adam Lambert’s video of “Time for Miracles” will debut before the Michael Jackson “This Is It” documentary which opens on Oct. 28.

Adam Lambert describes the video shoot: “I’m just walking through looking straight at the camera singing the song, and there’s a riot going on around me — people being tossed in front of me, looting, you know, people being arrested. That was pretty wild, to try to stay focused on the song while that was happening. But we had fun. It was a good day.”

I’m going to wear my Glambert #6969 hat now: A passing of the torch.

MTV Confirms Kris Allen Self-Titled Album Cover 1

Good job Jim Cantiello!

MTV News confirmed with 19 Entertainment that the album cover which appeared at BN.com was indeed the cover of Kris Allen’s self-titled (also confirmed) album which drops Nov. 17.

Kris Allen went to Staten Island for the photo shoot, which took place at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden on September 21, shortly after Kris debuted his single “Live Like We’re Dying” on New York’s Z100.

Loved that Jim quoted the “mess” rumors again. LOL!

Mat Kearney on Kris Allen: “One take and it was amazing” 3

Jim Cantiello interviewed Mat Kearney who collaborated with Kris Allen on his new album. The track is still top-secret and it was recorded in early August.

Good job Jim! I need to tweet @EWMichaelSlezak about this. He’s so on top of the Kris Allen news lately, maybe he’s listened to this song already.

Two more weeks for the album to be complete, and 1 1/2 months until the album comes out on Nov. 17! So exciting.

I just hope that Kris would tweet more about the songs than the artists he is working with. Adam Lambert has been tweeting after recording sessions which gives the fans a feel of how things turned out. As much as I love Eg White’s “Chasing Pavements” for example, who knows what kind of song they will produce — hopefully a hit!
