Jason Castro made an appearance at the Kansas City, where his brother Michael Castro auditioned for American Idol. Did Michael make it to the Hollywood Round?

I can already tell that Michael doesn’t have the same magnetic personality as Jason, but he does seem to be less awkward on air. So, maybe if he can sing better he’ll get put thru to Hollywood. That would add a little spice to the 2009 American Idol Season. But, sorry dude, Jason Castro is still, hands down, the coolest AND hottest Idol EVER.

JC has an awesome voice but one of the things that really made him stick out was his anti-Idol singing style. Wonder what his bro’s musical style is like – emo/jazz/Spanish/soul…? Perhaps he’s a folksy singer like his bro. Castro’s personality also instantly drew people towards him – endearing and entertainment gold – every week. And his appearance. The way you look and carry yourself does affect others’ perceptions of you, he distinctively stood out. Not really digging MC’s hair. Can’t tell much about his personality from that clip…dude just seems normal, lol. A good number of eyes and ears will be on him now – brave move man.

I love the way his brother speaks. It’s really rapid and sexy. Jason’s somewhat slurred speech and Texan accent is fk’n HOTTTT though. His bro has really gorgeous skin and eyes but I’m not loving the hair, sorry – it’s just awkward lol. Wonder if he truly knows what he’s letting himself into…making it past the Hollywood rounds and onto the live shows can hurt him just as not making it at all could. Wonder what Jason thinks about him auditioning. Any brotherly competition between the two haha? And I obviously wonder what his voice is like. Good luck Michael

I’m totally ready to listen to Michael Castro – if he has one quarter of Jason’s appeal plus a better voice, well let’s go, dude! And he certainly seems confident, which could just be a by-product of good parenting. Seems all the Castro boys are confident but not cocky, kind but not sugary, and musically gifted and totally unique. Let’s see if Michael can keep the run of luck going for the Castro Clan. Just makes me wish AI was starting tomorrow.
Here’s a video of Jackie trying to get her brother Michael to play his ukulele. He wouldn’t do it though and does seem kind of shy. He’s cute but not as good looking as Jason. Jason has just got that something special that shines through when he is performing, plus he’s got those gorgeous baby blue eyes. I hope Michael does do a great job because who knows, I mean he is Jasons brother and maybe talent does run in his family.
I’m wishing good luck to Michael!

Hey, Thanks Donna! Great video of Michael Castro. Now I sorta see what all the fuss in about. Michael has this exotic, Colombian, Indian, strong, silent thing going on – nice biceps too, BTW. He also has that same beautiful skin as Jason, and a bit of the same shy charm. And both those Castro guys are rockin’ some cool cuspids. Wonder if Michael can actually sing??? I’ll be watching AI in January to find out.
