Has anybody else noticed that our name has been streamlined into, simply, “Con Con Girls”? Rickey has dropped the Constantine Maroulis part. Is that an indication of how hugely famous we are now?

CON IS HOT!
ICCC RAWKS!
Everytime I open the thread, I’m reminded that my figure is indeed, less than Greek.
Thanks for the new digs, Rickey.
And can you tell us how many hits our thread gets? Roughly? I mean, 800 of them are me.
West‚Ñ¢, I believe the photo next to your figure being less than Greek, is your mouth being a little weak. I’m sure of it. At least he’s not asking TO OUR FACE if we’re smaaaaAAaaAaAAaart.

Hi ‘Gs
West if that is an excerpt from your new novel,I think it`s a winner. I bet those two get together somehow.
Dave looks simply adorable in his cute little doggie sweaters. I`ll bet you spoil him rotten, he looks like he would be a very sweet dog.
If Con was at a mall playing in CONcert, I hope I would be able to find the right one. LOL Actually I wouldn`t mind Athan grabbing me. …West that was very funny stuff.
Donna on November 21, 2005 at 6:12 pm

But if you were talking about the malls in Manilla I probably would go to the wrong one. I mean unless Constantine rode in a limo with all of the ‘Gs, then no one would get lost.

Great story so far, West. I like how you called the library a “collection of books.” You were referring to the library when you said that, right?
I’m also jealous of that girl that Con was dancing with. I hope he pulls someone up on stage in NJ. And if so, I hope that someone is me. But I hope he doesn’t spin me around and just leave me to go flying in the end, like he did to the girl. She twirled out of view and we never saw her again. I picture her spinning out of control, making a big CONmotion. Sorry, I got carried away there. I don’t mind if he does that to me. I’ll be so overwhelmed by the fact that he chose ME to dance with that I won’t care a bit. Who am I kidding? He won’t choose me The Star Parking passes were sold out by the time I bought tickets, so I’ll probably be waaaay in the back somewhere anyway.

Donna is right.
Poor, poor Connie looked like Jerry Lewis after the 543rd hour of the telethon. Dean Martin, encore three. He looked sooooooo tired. I wanted to let him rest his head on my sternum.
What?
I told you, I’m LESS THAN GREEK.
Has anybody noticed that our boy is sniffing the guitarist again? I now find it charming.
After reading the People magazine story on Bo, I must say I still like living in his beard. But FOR THE LOVE OF CON, BO, SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR FUCKING CATS!
I have videos of the cebu concert. I’ll try to give it to later. I will be in a meeting for 4 hours.

Lyn I was jealous of that girl dancing with Con also. It was rather weird that Con kind of spun her around and pushed her back to the direction of her seat.
I wonder if she fell. But it probably wouldn`t matter because she was so mesmerized by Constantine. But then who wouldn`t be.
West I wonder how come Con never took off that suit jacket,if he was so hot, I think it was a muscle shirt, like a sleeveless undershirt. I guess he thought it would make him either look too sloppy or too sexy.
I could understand about the white tunic Con shirt, since he had nothing on underneath.
Okay, West. You asked for it. Merry Christmas! It will arrive within two weeks of payment. I’ll just ship it to Con’s hair.

I seriously considered the hand bag, too. It doesn’t show what pictures are on the other side of the bag, unless it’s the same ones. It would be nice if they were different.
Okay, the Bob Dylan Chip and Dip bowl from the same seller is HILARIOUS. It’s a conversation piece!
Well it would be if anyone could see through the dip that it’s made of a Dylan album. By the time you finish the dip, you’re too hammered to make conversation! It’s time to RAWK!
So, I’m in the car today, and decide that it’s been forever since I’ve listened to BoRhap. I plug in QK and give it a spin. Great! Still love it! Back to radio. And I’m still hearing BoRhap – second verse. “Gotta leave you all behind…”. Takes a second to realize that the station is playing the original.

That turtleneck reminds me of the last time I went skiing, when I tore my MCL on the last run of the first day. My boyfriend at the time left me in the lodge lobby for the next three days while he and the rest of my friends skied.
What if, instead of sitting there reading books and sulking all by myself, I’d seen Constantine in his turtleneck, getting hot chocolate at the coffee bar? He would have turned around and seen me looking pathetic with my knee all bandaged and braced. He’d come over and strike up a conversation. “How’d you mess up your knee?” he’d ask with concern. I’d tell him that my champion-skier boyfriend had been messing around and cut me off, causing me to fall and tear the tendons. “Where’s your boyfriend now?” he’d ask. I’d say that he was living it up on the slopes. With anger flashing in those big brown eyes, he’d say, “Baby, he doesn’t deserve you. Run away with me.” I’d remind him that in my present state, I couldn’t run anywhere. He’d laugh at my joke, and then pick me up and carry me off into the sunset.
But instead, I sat there and sulked for three days, and then broke up with the jerk a week after we got back.

I think they are trying to usher Ryan Seacrest in as the new Dick Clark. They’re both hosting the New Year’s Eve thing I think. I was sad last year when Dick Clark was too sick to do it.
But I think Ryan would be the best guy for the job – Bandstand to Idol.
Thanks for the thoughts.
And I think Connie would actually have some hilarious mishaps. Remember, part of the charm is that things never quite turn out the way he thinks they will. (Black Tuesday, The Kick Emailed Around The World. The black girl in his hair. Girls that think that imagining him on a pogo stick yelling stroooooopwaffels is sexier than when he tries to be sexy in real life? The I N T E R V I E W. The towel throw that he thinks one day we will find charming. Elimidate. Sniffing his pit in that publicity photo. Getting caught eating your RAWK hand. Thinking he’s gonna thrash on Leno and having Mama Maroulis hit him with her purse, leading to the Galileo face. He totally thought he was gonna be a grown up RAWK STAH that night. Like Sting or something. Having fans that make him the MASCOT! Hmph. Never got to be the drummer. Crotch caught on fire. Donna was on the wrong side of the bus. The CCG not getting the Goat Check joke he made for us. Trying to type a message to you picky heifers on a dark tour bus and getting dogged.
Okay, that last one was me pretending, but it coulda happened to Connie.
Oooh, West‚Ñ¢, sounds like a fever. Snuggle up to Dave and Lola for warmth.

Now what’s Black Saturday?
I’m so confused.
Or dying.
One or the other.
I have a graph that gives me an ETA of the finish of my novel. It’s December 1. One day too late.
ACK!
I gotta haul!
Wonder if they’ll notice if I just cut-n-paste my Favorite Leno Moments right in the middle of the story.
You’re only one day behind! That’s easy to remedy, considering that you have eight days in which to do so. You just need to write at a pace of 112.5% of your current average, dear West. It should be no problem at all!
Here’s a suggestion: have one of your characters plop down in front of a computer and surf to Rickey’s site. Then have them stumble upon West’s Favorite Leno Moments. You can then legitimately post W’s FLM without losing credibility. Granted, it won’t have anything to do with the story, but you can fix that in the editing later, right? Besides, don’t they encrypt the files before they do their own word count? Their super secret computers aren’t actually READING your novel. (See? I told you I checked out the site!)

The lead singer for Audioslave (on Leno right now) looks like Bob Dylan’s and Douglas Fairbanks Jr.’s kid. Or Dylan and Harvey Korman doing Fairbanks on Carol Burnett. Or something. They didn’t get couch time! HA!

Hello G’s.
Have you seen CON in GDNY? It’s so nice of him that he acknowledged that he has several fan groups but mentioned that the betty’s were the strongest one.
I thought the CCG’s were the strongest of them all. I Wonder. ***thinking***

Huh? What?
Just posting all this comment/dialogue into my novel. Don’t mind me!
Thanks for the kind words CCG – and for taking an interest in my personal insanity. Just when I thought I was cute, 1352 words in half an hour, it became the NEXT day and I was estimated to end on December 2 instead of the first.
You’re only one day behind! That’s easy to remedy, considering that you have eight days in which to do so. You just need to write at a pace of 112.5% of your current average, dear West. It should be no problem at all!
112% of current average?
RICKEY! RIIIIIICKEY! MERE’S AN AUTOMATED ROBOT! RICKEY! SHE’S NOT HUUUU-MAN! RICKEY!!!
I stay up too late, I have to start going to bed earlier, but The Twilight Zone is on now I love it, even though they`re old reruns in black and white.
Constantine has to know of the CCG, It`s listed in Google.
Rickey.org is the best website, everyone should know that.

Took a jaunt into the BBs for Q&A recaps. Here’s the deal: Con said he’ll be doing all the AI songs at the NJ shows. Interesting. Lori *will* get her KFAR, though! Was asked if he’ll be singing Moondance, and he said something about not wanting to say … wants it to be a surprise (?). Asked what his fav song was on AI. He liked them all, but BR was best. I think he was asked what his fav song to sing is now. Answer: Moondance – grew up on that song.
Are you scared, West? Nervous that I might *know* things? Like math, for instance?

Good afternoon, G’s
If you need a break from Con’s news (as if !), here is a place where you can listen to the entire Carrie’s album. I am not impressed with most of the songs on it, but I love “Before He Cheats” with “Wasted” at #2.
Hi ‘Gs . I couldn`t fall a sleep last nighb so I had to sleep most of the day my kids were off of school today, well two of them were. My daughgter in High school and my daughter going to our community college who is going to be a pre- school teacher, had schhool also. But my kids kept waking me for something or other. I think my problem is I don`t sleep enough straight tnrough.
Mere, I hope you have a great time at the movies. I want to see it too. You get to see the guy who plays Roger and think of Con on Broadway playing that same part. Con would have had to be better.
Laff, thanks for the info on Con. I wish I could go to
to NJ.
West, I bet your novel will be published, and maybe you`ll become famous. Well it could happen,
oOo, thanks for the info on Carrie. I missed Con Tuesday morning but saw the last few minutes of Carrie singing.
She looked beautiful, and sounded pretty good, I think I already mentioned that in an earlier post.
I will talk to you girls later.
I have to do a little X-mas shopping

Well, I’m way beyond the goat shirt. I don’t need no stinkin’ goats. I Believe‚Ñ¢.
But we’re on thin ice.
I miss the ‘Gs! We’re being creamed by the other groups out there who are producing volumes! We’re not exactly the popular crowd in school these days. Nobody wants to sit next to us in the caf. Well, nobody except Josh and Constantine. Still not sure why.
laff on November 23, 2005 at 4:00 pm
195
No, wait. Josh has moved on, too. I forgot! *sigh*. We’ve lost too many troops. Ah, well. It was inevitable.
So, Constantine had to eat duck on GDNY. No forks in sight. What’s a well-bred greekboy to do? BIG BITE! Make face. Ewwww. Barf. *Pretend you like it – famous chef ‘n all* *I’m on TV*… mmmm, good. (Mama Maroulis laughing in the studio audience: He hates duck.)
laff on November 23, 2005 at 4:11 pm

This is about the time of day when I talk to myself.
Now, help me out. If Constantine does all the AI songs in NJ, and *perhaps* Moondance, AND Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer/Holly Jolly Christmas/All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth (special tooth-oriented song for laff)… then I guess “an eclectic mix of contemporary blah blah blah” is out the window?

Lori, I didn’t get that either. I mean, the song was already “unveiled”, so no big surprise if Con sings it. Bigger surprise if he *doesn’t* – given the huge response it seems to have gotten. (maybe I’m just biased.)

TEARS! TEARS running down my face in the theatre. I’m still emotional. RENT is good. Very very good. I knew this going in, but OMG! They did a fantastic job adapting it. Oh, and it only took me about 30 minutes to get over Roger not being Con.
Mere sounds like rent was really good, I`ll have to go see it.
Laff if Con sings *This Guys In Love With You* then if he doesn`t really come here to talk maybe he just secretly comes to get some ideas from the super creative `Gs.

Pre-bath encore:
Also, The Charlotte Observer reports on a good-natured hazing incident involving a Constantine Maroulis picture that took place on the NFL’s Carolina Panthers football team. It seems that most of the offensive line of the Carolina Panthers were fans of Constantine during the American Idol 4 competition. Most of them except for offensive tackle Jordan Gross, who apparently “strongly disagreed” with his teammates support of Constantine. Right before the NFL season kicked off, the team mounted a picture of Constantine in Jordan’s locker.
Yes, Mrs. Maroulis. There are 8 short clips of your fiance answering questions. Very little trademark cockiness. Humble. What’d you do to him, Mere?

Thanksgiving is Thursday. People choose varying times for their meals. Ours is at 2:00. I think the chosen time is tied to a football game, meaning that we’re either eating after one is over or before one starts, but I’m not positive on that. All I know is that I’m stressing over preparations.
