  No offense to Kellie, but Taylor Swift totally deserved that award. Kellie basically lucked into her career due to her charismatic, charming, and off-the-wall personality, whereas Taylor Swift got her career the old-fashioned way.

  Neither one of them are really great singers. They have great personalities and are very cute and sexy looking but they do not even compare a bit to the likes of Faith Hill or Martina McBride. Kellie has used her body and country ways to the hilt plus American Idol’s exposure to make it this far. I do not think any long career in music is in the cards for her. Taylor is adorable but her voice is very monotonous and her songs are so trivial. She will be around longer but still she does not even compare a bit to the greats.

  Kellie is a big personality with a big heart to match. I have not been impressed with Taylor S but I am sure lots of people love her. If Kellie could improve her singing in large arenas, I think she will have a long career in country music. Her songs tell a story. (She can carry a tune, but she tends to be a little pitchy as she runs up and down the stage.)
