“I am ,,,I Said” was wonderful. It is my favorite ND song. I hoped that DC would get it and was miffed when I heard Brooke got it. But her emotion carried it. Very well done.

As for the first one, it looked like the staff talent show at the end of summer camp. Very awkward.

I like her. Brooke is sweet. Unfortunately these past few weeks have been harsh on her. I appreciate parts of her performances lately, but overall she appears to be breaking down. I’m a Believer was fairly awful and only improved by the end when she started to break out with her voice (which sadly lasted for about 12 seconds). Her second song was pleasant, but it probably won’t save her.

I thought she was upbeat and sang well and not at all in melt-down mode. That whole melt-down schtick gets to be a tired refrain when you hear it constantly in the media, etc. I’m glad she had a good night.

I really dont like her.. I think she is still in the competition because she’s like the pretty popular blonde at school that everyone likes just cause she’s pretty… I did not like her performances at all.

She’s still in the competition because she has this sort of charisma and really, if people are really expecting her to break down, she wouldn’t and that’s just plain mean to expect and hope that she would. She is definitely not the best singer left in the competition but she has a good recording voice. ^_^

i didn’t really like this week. Not only did Paula flubbed, the contestants didn’t really offer much new and why do we have to force these people to sing two songs from the same person? >_<

Nightmare was way too strong. It wasn’t anything special though. I think Brooke (maybe Jason) is the weakest of the remaining contestants.

i didnt like the first song very much. she seamed happy when u looked at her, but her voice sounded completely different. she sounded bored! Oo

Is it just me or did Brooke have a “terrified, crazed” look in her eyes when she was singing I’m a Believer?
But she emotionally connected for the second song. I thought it was pretty good, voice cracks and all..

I’m not surprised Brooke chose I’m A Believer–she loves those older songs. I’m also not surprised that it was not very good. The second song was much better. Brooke will put out a good album, because it will be songs suited for her limited vocal range. She is not a vocal powerhouse and the only reason she is still around is because she’s cute and likeable.
