Not necessarily a win for Archie. A lot of Cook’s fans, like Jason as well. So, if by some unknown reason that David C. doesn’t advance to the finals, I believe his votes would swing to Jason.

Why would anyone equate David A. with sexiness. IMO he is still a little boy, although I do admit that he is quite adorable. Describing him as sexy is just WRONG!

I think David Archuleta should win. But if he doesn’t, I suspect it will be because of his lousy song choices. He seems to have rather odd taste in songs to sing.

Hirolvr – I guess it’s all relative. If you are a teenager, you may find DA “sexy.” Being an older fan like I am, I think he’s cute, but I don’t find him “sexy.” I think Tib fits into the former age category, which doesn’t make her comment so strange.

I don’t find David sexy, but I do find him adorable. I certainly wouldn’t categorize him as a ‘little boy’ though. He *is* 17 years old.

True enough, Alexys. David is 17 years old. He’s a young MAN, not a little boy. He may look young, but according to those closest to him, he’s quite mature for only being 17. Regardless of whether or not people find him “cute” or “sexy,” he is quite an amazing talent and that’s why I’m a fan.

Have you listened to “Think of Me” studio version yet? It is my humble opinion that this was the best song of ALW night. DA arranged and sang it to be an updated love song which could be on the radio today. I loved all the Phantom songs…it’s a great music score.

Jason is cute, sweet and talented, but David Archuleta has my heart. I am a lifer, will love this kid til the day I die.

I think David A. is insanely talented, a truly wonderful human being, and cuter than words can express. And, he’ll only get better as he matures.

I’ll vote my fingers off to see David win Idol. He SO deserves it!

I totally agree with you. While a darling kid with a great vocal gift who will probably be the next AI, David A seems very, very young even for 17. And, tho only 3 yrs separate him from Jason Castro, the sexiness factor puts them WORLDS apart. Evangeline Lilly of LOST said it perfectly: “Jason Castro is pure talent and pure sex appeal!” I couldn’t agree more. While Jason’s vocal range is limited, his intensity and passion are riveting. When he picks up that guitar and starts to sing he morphs from a goofy, bowlegged cowboy dude into a “molten hot” Latin lover in the blink of an eye!

Yes, there does seem to be a concerted effort by Nigel, Somon, Randy, and even Andrew Webber to bad mouth Jason right out of the competition, (just like they did Robbie C.). They don’t give the viewers much credit for intellgence if they think we can’t see what they’re trying to do.

I thought AI was supposed to be a viewer based vote, so their efforts to sway the vote to THEIR personal fav is unethical. They are of course allowed to give their opinions of each performance, but to say, on live TV, as Ryan did to Simon “how should viewers vote for Jason Castro?” was beyond unfair.

Imigine their surprise tho, after all their mean spirited banter dissing Jason last week, he wasn’t even in the bottom! Ha! Love it.

Be prepared tho, they won’t give up easily. They may even step up their unfair ridicule this week in an effort to get Jason eliminated. Watch for the slams to come hot and heavy – and then just ignore them and vote your fingers off for Jason Castro.

Yes jcast, I guess Simon really liked Jason at first but all the sudden they decide they want him out and are just being so mean and cruel. That’s okay it probably will make Jason stronger and hopefully he can prove his talent and uniqueness to everyone.

I’ll be voting for Jason like crazy tonight!
