Elliott = LOVE <3 He’s amazing. You can tell how much he misses his mom, but he still did such a beautiful job. And he cut his hair some since I last saw him and he looks great too LOVE YOU ELLIOTT!!!!

Yes, it is Sway. I saw Elliott in concert a few months ago and Sway is backup singer for him on tour too. Isn’t that funny? He was eliminated at some point before the top 12 in season 5.

flipchilln: Yes, that was Sway. Someone else asked that same question in the previous blog. Sway sang back-up for Elliott on his concert tour last year. My daughter and I saw them in Troy, NY. It was an excellent concert.

Yey! its Sway, i love Elliott even more……

I though that Sway wasnt given a fair chance on idol but Elliott knows that he is talented that is why he included him on his concerts, i loved the last part of this song when Elliott and Sway sang together.

it’s nice to see elliott on stage again. he was my favorite on season 5. after daughtry left, who at first i thought would win, he knew he had a chance. i actually thought he’ll win it after that. anyways, it’s really nice to see him. thanks for the video rickey.

WooHoo! Good to see & hear Elliott…and how aprepo for his first stage appearance after the loss of Ms Claudette was on the American Idol stage.

Good to see Sway still singing back-up…they’ve come a long way since the debacle with that Britnum twin during Hollywood week in Season 5.

I highly suggest catching Elliott in concert if he comes near your town. Hearing him live is an experience not to be missed…and is totally different than hearing him on a recording.

It was so sweet that he wrote that on his hand. I lost it when I saw that. I love Elliott. He was my favorite in season 5, and one of my favorites from all the seasons of AI. He always wears his heart on his sleeve…or in this case on his hand. RIP Claudette. Mama Yamin raised one heck of a guy.

I totally agree with love4elliott that there will never ever be another Elliott Yamin. Please pardon for echoing some of the same sentiments expressed in earlier comments, but he is my favorite all of the AI seasons and this performance does show his growth as an entertainer. Free is one of my favorite songs from his cd and he sang it with confidence and conviction. Didn’t he look great!
