She was all over this performance and if she goes after this…that would be incredibly lame. She’s been hanging on through some not so hot performances…but I guess anything is possible with MJ’s shock elim.

Meh. The original is better. I had better hopes for her and this song (being my favorite MC song) but they falled flat on their face. *sigh* I think it’s time for her to go.

I just don’t care for her. Didn’t like this performance. Boring, predictable. She thinks she’s hotter than she is. Poor delusional Syesha.

i agree with the clay fan here. she thinks she’s better than this competition; better than mariah, better than whitney, she just is lacking qualities that make her likable. and it sucks, because she could be really good. :\

She was the best of the women, for sure. I don’t care that this was an obscure song, she did a really good job with it. I do wish she would remain quiet while getting judges’ feedback, though…

I just don’t understand all the hate for this girl. She’s been awesome throughout the entire season. Tonight, her performace was easily the best performance of the night. I don’t care what the judges say (or anyone else for that matter).

Syesha was awesome tonight, for crying out loud she listened to the judges advice and sang a least popular song, and you complain again!!! what do you what from Syesha(tell me?)
Anyway i think she was the best female of the night and i predict all female btm3, so i guess she is safe!! vocally strong performance

Good but not great. I think she heads to bottom 3 but makes it out. I didn’t like the missed notes in her runs there at the end.

Syesha can’t BUY a decent & honest observation of her performances from some posters here. And even yesterdays’ outstanding number won’t allow most to admit that despite personal feelings of negativity towards her in addition to other opinions offered (RIckey included) she was 1 of the BEST Tuesday. Better than the “chosen 1″. Yeah, better than David A.

Oh, by the way, Simon was a lamer. He wasn’t able to ‘adequately’ criticize her performance so he chose to attack the unfamiliarity of the song. D’UHH??? She followed the judges suggestions as Toyin pointed out above & made a perfect decision so that a fair assessment could be made of her performance.

Good thing she didn’t select a WELL KNOWN tune, or else Simon would have had an alternative
negative critique. Oh, that’s right!! He was prepared with a negative comment REGARDLESS of what Syesha chose.

The bottom 3 SHOULD contain Brooke (definitely), Kristy & Carly (unfortunately).

I would agree that this was a phenomenal performance – better than Carly who I think generally is a better singer .

For some odd reason, Syesha seems to have a problem getting any recognition. And to make matters worse for her , the fact that the tabloids have done articles about her parents and a few problems in their past ( Need I elaborate?) , will not help her in the judging .
That’s really too bad , because she was exceptionally good on that song, I think.

I love Syesha. I don’t care for this song and I didn’t think it was her best choice, but that said, I thought she did very well and I also don’t understand the hate toward her. I liked her since her first audition with the anointed three. I hope she stays in but I think her fan base is the smallest of all the girls. After listening to all the mp3s..yes, I missed the show and forget to tivo it…the bottom three will be:

Carly, Brooke, Syesha. Once Brooke leaves it will truly be up to who is better vocally and has the best song choices as the fan bases are about equal…with the exception of David A (teenyboppers RULE!!) ..who will be in a showdown with David C at the end. At this point however, fan base is still playing a big rule. That is why I think Syesha is most likely to go, unfortunatly.

The guys still rule in my book.

I think they’ve been trying to set her up to leave. I really like the way she sings. Syesha has a beautiful voice! There is no way I could sing the way she sang last night. She was outstanding. I hate the way they criticize her as if she couldn’t sing. SHE CAN! otherwise she wouldn’t be there!

I think Syesha was set up to leave early with baseless planted comments courtesy of the judges such as yesterday’s Randy comment, ‘good job’. However, Brooke, who faltered in her delivery was told by Randy that she ‘did a very good job overall’. Com’on Randy, that was sooo blatant!

I am not even a fan of Syesha, but I have huge contempt for AI voter-prodding. Yesterday’s ridiculous comments by Simon & Randy propelled me to cast my 1st vote for Syesha. Then I enlisted others to help her out because my primary voter obligation is for David Cook & Jason.

OK, SO…on second listen, I really liked this. I didn’t like it so much, last night. Probably mainly because I LOVEEEEE the original SO much, and she screwed around with the melody a bit, but now, I think it worked, and she really did SLAM that big part!
