Hmmm… an interesting setup by Simon Cowell… but position #4 is still good — I think. And “Hero” is a memorable song. I liked it even if she biffed it in the end.

I won’t be surprised if she leaves, Jason, David A, David C , Jason, Carly,Kristy and Syesha all did better than her, It sounded so lame and not even good enough for karaoke.

I really think that Brook, sadly, will be leaving us. She has the lowest number of votes on dialidol….I know they aren’t always correct, but I just have a feeling. I certainly hope not. She didn’t do great tonight, but I just love her.

Is it just me, or is Brooke becoming less and less likeable each week. I’m not quite sure what it is, but she isn’t coming off quite as genuine as in the early weeks. My mom commented that she’s too “squeaky”. Definitely true for this performance. I wouldn’t be too surprised if Brooke gets cut this week.

Brooke gets extremely nervous on piano! i can’t even watch, i was worried that she was going to stop, or throw up, or something! oh man. this was a tough one to watch. perhaps she would have sounded stronger had she not been shaking and missing keys on the piano.

How can Randy compliment that and diss on Syesha? I’m getting to tired of the OBVIOUS setup they are doing this year. I understand it’s happened in years past, but it seems the WORST this year. Brooke vocally is so overrated that I really can’t stand it anymore. That vocal was TERRIBLE, and she missed several chord changes in the song… PLUS, she rushed it. TERRIBLE.

I don’t think she was confident enough this week to tackle the piano and singing. It would have been a lot better, in my opinion, if she’d just sung. May be too late, now. I like that “squeak” in her voice. More of a rasp, i’d say:)

Two thumbs down…I couldn’t find ANYTHING redeeming in that performance.

If she goes home Wednesday…the worst thing about it is that it was one week too late…if only her sister’s wedding was this coming weekend.

She was so nervous towards the end that she was visibly shaking, missed notes on the piano, and her singing was off. I suffered seeing all this. She was by far the worst of the night.

I think that Brooke is AMAZING and she deserves to go all the way!!!! Yeah, she needs a healthy confindence boost, but I would definately go to see and listen to her in concert. Once she knows what she’s got – there aint no stoppin’ her and who’d want to anyway!!!!

I have always been a big Brooke fan, but I’m worried that she may be going home after last night’s performance. The song kind of got away from her at the end. I still love Brooke and think she has a good future.

It doesn’t really matter if she’s gonna be the official winner of American Idol. She’s already a winner. Don’t worry Brooke We’ll still love you! Your voice is amazing tho, who wouldn’t love it? Wish you all the best. Love you!

Her voice is just what I expect…and this was a song that fits into what Brooke is as an artist. You just have to like the simple, stripped down performance and that may not be enough for this competition. It may be time for Brooke to leave, though week in and week out she remains one of my vocal favorites.

She rushed the song and it was painful at points to listen to. I think she should have just sang and not played the piano as well. She kept getting ahead of herself vocally. I personally think it is time for her to go. She is a good enough singer, but not star quality.
