Landon Brown, Bobby Brown’s hot son, is in MTV’s “Rock the Cradle”. Landon Brown once wrote a comment on Rickey.org! Woohoo! Go Landon!

If you want to hear great singing though, “Rock the Cradle” really isn’t the show for you, but if you are in the mood for second-generation has-been star trainwrecks — this is it. The whole premise is cringe-inducing. Bobby Brown, MC Hammer, the lead singer of Twisted Sister, Olivia Newton-John and Kenny Loggins in one show plus their less talented kids? Priceless.

The talk of the show however has been Olivia Newton-John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi — who gave a blood-ear-inducing rendition of INXS “Never Tear Us Apart” — and then Belinda Carlisle gives her an almost perfect score of 9.5 to the shock of the entire audience and the other judges.

This show really doesn’t deserve its own thread. This is as bad as the Fox disaster, ARE YOU HOT. Why can’t celebrity kids enjoy their money, party their nights away and not resort to appearing on reality TV?

Belinda Carlisle must be senile. That was just horrible and I felt so bad for Olivia Newton-John to have to watch that and smile.

Okay. Since no one has mentioned her, I will. A’keiba Burrell-Hammer is a friend of mine. I sang with her in the Austin Lyric Opera chorus last year and she rocked. I watched the video of her MTV.com and and thought she did really well, but looked a little nervous. She sounded great, and as an opera singer, and as a singer myself, I can tell you that she has the pied for this. And I know that I had no idea she was Hammer’s daughter. Maybe some of the people who went to school with her did. Anyway, she’s one of the sweetest girls I know and I wish her the best.

I watched the re-run tonight. A couple of them were ok, but most of them wouldn’t make it through the judge’s first round on AI without Simon totally ridiculing them.
