Clay Aiken On My Way Here

American Idol’s Clay Aiken will release his fourth album “On My Way Here” on May 6, 2008. You can pre-order now on Amazon.com. The album was produced by Kipper, best known for his work with Sting and Chris Botti. “On My Way Here” will include the title track and a song called “Ashes”.

Clay Aiken can currently be seen on “Spamalot” on Broadway.

There will be various comments regarding this cover for sure… but I have to say that Clay Aiken looks lovely, reminding me of a younger James Spader with his somewhat androgynous beauty. Ha,ha! No, he really is an attractive man possessing delicate features & lovely skin not to mention an amazing vocal instrument that causes me ‘goose bumps’.

I wonder whether this CD contains original material, covers or both. Nonetheless, I’ll be purchasing Clays’ new CD!

Aprylette, I agree that Clay is very androgenous in a David Bowie sort of way. Too bad he didn’t come of age in the Glam Rock era. He’d have made a great Ziggy Stardust.

Actually, I just saw Clay in Spamalot last month, and he makes a superb Sir Robin!

This cd will be ALL ORIGINALS-no covers at all. I do think Clay does covers better than most of the original artists; an ‘all original’ cd is what Clay wants and I think it will help with reviews from some of the narrow-minded critics out there! Clay didn’t dye his hair for Spamalot since he wears wigs in the show. I think Clay and Team Clay just like to experiment with different looks. I do like his hair on the cover of his last cd the best-but he does look gorgeous on this cover, too!! David Beckman used to have a different ‘do every week!! I think eventually Clay will settle into the ‘do that suits him the best! Jadore Ace- I just came back from NYC yesterday from seeing Clay in Spamalot for the 2nd time since Jan.(this time from the front row!!). Clay is just phenomenal in his THREE roles. In each one Clay uses a different accent and his whole face changes-proving what an incredible actor he is.

Awesome opportunity to actually see Clay on broadway for you & jean (twice)! I bet he is something.:) Real acting & in 3 roles at that!

Ever since Clay decided to shed his American Idol look, I think he’s had some difficulty finding himself in terms of the right hairdo. I think the one on this cover just might be a winner!

A little blonde for me (I loved the dark brown spikes from a few years ago), but the cover looks absolutely lovely. I am so excited for more original songs from Clay and his amazing voice and can’t wait for this album!! Thanks for posting, Rickey. Yay

haha, Aprylette, James Spader is a heckuva lot better than the guy who popped into my mind at first—Barry Manilow in his early days!! Clay has nice features, and more important, a new CD! good for him.

Girlygirl45, Clay does have nice features. I’m pleased that he has a CD with originals & is a hit in Spamalot. What a consistently successful career he’s having since season 2!
