This rumor has been confirmed by Joesplace, so we are inclined to believe it. OMG! I hope this is true. What a great season this is turning out to be. A voting contest within a season. Brilliant.

I don’t really get it, what does this mean?
and how would the process work to fit into the AI schedule? Do we get to see the 5 contestants compete for the spot and which 5 contestants is it? I’m so confuzzled :$

They need David Hernandez. There is to much standing there and singing this year. Many of the contestant hardly work the stage and when they do its looks like they are moving just for the sake of moving. While this may have been the best ever top twelve vocally, they are way down the list in overall showmanship. David H will add some much needed showmanship to the tour.

This is so odd. Why don’t they just have the usual Wild Card Round like before? Don’t forget, Clay Aiken and JPL are both Wild Card winners, and are immensely popular. Sheesh. My vote’s for David Hernandez (and Amanda if I can vote a second time), they are the ones who actually performed well. Alaina was awesome too~ Adore her.
