It was pretty, but her phrasing was a bit disjointed. Nerves? Big stage? I don’t know. I would be surprised if it is her last night though.

What was that? Seriously, I thought that she would blow us all away and really step it up this week. What’s wrong is that she’s singing songs for other people. She’s not yet safe in the competition, so she needs to sing songs that’ll benefit her. If the rest of the contestants does good tonight, Ramiele will be eliminated.

I thought it was good. She showed she has control vocally.

EVERY PERFORMANCE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE OVERPOWERING VOCALLY.

Plus, I think the THEMES should have a much broader range.

WHAT IDOL WILL MAKE A RECORD WITH LENON AND MCCARTNEY? it doesn’t give us a sense of direction they will take after idol.

Amazing how differing opinions are because unlike the judges, (well, maybe Paula) I thought her vocals were velvety & her harmonizing so gentle & melodic & I wasn’t bored with this pretty singers’ performance, either. It’s got to be the song choice this week & Ramieles’ selection of a ballad was ‘3 in a row’ & that was probably a no-no this evening.

I really thought she was a lot better in the beginning, but the last couple of weeks she seems pretty down and defeated. I know that the people that she was closest to have gone home. It almost seems like she doesn’t want it that much anymore.

I think she still has enough fans to stay. The performance wasn’t bad, just not exceptional. I hope that she can get some fire back.

i haven’t seen her performance but I listened to it. It was pretty good. It wasn’t pitchy at all! The performance doesn’t have to be loud… She has a very good voice and I really don’t know and I really get why some says its pitchy… Oh well you can’t please everybody… I love Ramiele, I think, She’s really good!

Ramiele does need to pick better songs or more of an upbeat one. But besides that, she sang this song beautifully. Really simple but i think at this stage of the competition, she needs to hit a homerun. Still voting for her to stay another week though. I just hope she gives it to us next week.

I like Ramiele. But week after week I hear traces of Regine Velasquez in her way singing and I hope it stops.

Also, I think one of her problems is song choice. She needs to pick a song that everyone (young and old) can relate to. It’s hard to do that, but if she can, she will definitely succeed.

Agreed. And this is the only thing that irks me about Ramiele. It’s like when she hears a good comment on her performance she’s all cutesy but if it’s a constructive comment she starts to pout like a kid. It’s a competition. Bad/constructive comments are expected so she should take it all in and act like an adult.

Her voice is absolutely gorgeous, and I think they were way too hard on her. I enjoyed it because the tone of her voice is so pleasant and DID match the song for me. You don’t have to power your way through a song for it to be good… =(

she needs to act her age.

but even after all that, it’s undeniable that she’s an extraordinary talent…love her voice, great performer.

I thought it was really sweet, but I was waiting for the song to really pick up and for her to belt. Again her voice could’ve carried this song and could’ve been a moment, but she didn’t go anywhere with the song. Ramiele needs to be consistently good for the next few weeks to regain herself.

What happened to the Ramiele we saw in the beginning where she was so confident? She showed her power vocals and wasn’t afraid to blast off in the song. She needs to learn how to arrange the song so it shows her strength again, because I think people are starting to forget.

this show is scripted,they’re just making her sing ugly songs on this part of the show but in the middle part of the competition will be the time they’ll be allowing Ramielle to show her real singing skills..

I’ve grown to feel actually physical discomfort when Randy says the word “pitchy”, but when she finished the song, I thought to myself, “man, that was kind of pitchy”.

But I actually sorta liked her this week. Well, I mean in the past she’s sung songs that were so.. predictable; I thought the sweetness of the song was really great, but halfway through, I just wanted her to belt one out, just because.

I have mixed feelings on the performance. I love that song, and I thought she sounded beautiful for the most part. My main problem with her is I don’t feel anything, like passion or soul…I don’t feel a connection. I think she should pay more attention to the meaning of the song and express it more.

No, that is a false dilemma. You forgot the third option, which is thanking the judges like a good little contestant, taking the advice to heart, and using that feedback to improve your performance the following week. Think Jason, Brooke, David C., and the others who get stronger each week. You can’t excuse her for being “so young,” because she’s no longer a teenager, and Jason C. is the same age.

Ramiele has been getting the same feedback every week, and yet she continues to make the same mistakes. It’s getting really old. The pouty face is not cool. It’s a thinly disguised attempt to get the sympathy vote, and it’s annoying because it’s essentially saying, “But I’m so little and cute, how can you be so mean to me?”

At one point last night, Ramiele actually said “Awwww.” Seriously, are you in 5th grade?

Guys, lets be very critical here. she was given a GOOD ADVICE to use her vocals, to belt it out but she didnt. its as if shes turning a deaf ear, i felt insulted. its as if she wanted to lose.

just use your amazing voice. choose the right songs.
belt it out. please. it would be a waste to see you sing so safe

after watching her performance once again, i realized that her performance was very heartfelt and not boring at all. i guess we were all just affected by how chickezie’s performance was very hyped up. hence, we looked for something like that. but ramiele’s performance here is really better than last week’s.
