I think if he keeps giving performances like that VTFW will get bored and drop him which could be a good thing for him.

I really like his humor.

His little moose ear for Simon and wiping the dandruff off his shoulders — funny — but his remark to Ryan when he said he hadn’t noticed the purple streaks? Hilarious! Surprised that Simon didn’t have a follow up comment for that.

The singing so so, but I think he has a unique personality and the voice can grow. It’s basically good already.

I hope he makes it to the tour. I’ll bet he would be fun live.

I am not watching Idol this season, but I keep tabs on my man Danny here and vote for him. He seemed a lil off, but I know the MP3, will be hot. I think with out Danny, this season contestants have very little personality and lack star power. Danny should not only stay for his great singing chops (we all heard his amazing audition) but also for his funny and crazy, and sexy personality. Danny if your reading this, I love you. okay okay okay.. I love him more each time I see that video.. just LOVE that man.

You can tell that Simon likes Danny, even if he criticizes him fro his performance, you can tell Simon loves his attitude and personality. Danny “talks back” to Simon in a way that isn’t disrespectful at all. He is able to show attitude with keeping in the boundaries of humor and respect. I like that about him.

OK… This is my feeling about Danny, tonight. He didn’t sing great, but at least he tried something different with the song. He at least did something with the arrangement… took a risk and “thought about the overall performance.”

I dunno, my wife & I actually really liked this…and not just from a novelty standpoint. The vocals were not at all bad, just dripping with his attitude in a good way. I ranked him third overall for the night, behind Jason & Dave C.

And the “mmmhmmm” to Ryan at the end absolutely made my week…

He was alright tonight but I too love Dannys personality. He won’t take nothing from Simon or nobody. He talks back but knows when to stop and is just too funny. I like Danny and I know he’ll be in the top 12 hopefully the top 16 also.

I think Danny is the “novelty” act of the season. They’ll keep him on for the “what will he do next” factor. Watch how insane his hair and outfits will go once they hit top 12 shows. He will go over the top in the way the show cannot play with Chikezie or Luke. Danny wants fame and I think he will get it. Not for his voice. For his flash and sass.

This was BY FAR the worst performance of the night. The song did nothing for him, didn’t show any abilities. If he hangs on it will be VFTW that keeps him there.

Worst? No way. Luke was the worst, but vocally, it was awful, because it couldn’t showcase his abilities (agreed). HOWEVER, at least he didn’t just go out and karaoke the exact same arrangement as the one from the 80s, like 5 contestants did. Only David Cook did something different, also. Danny will make it through on originality on the arrangement.

For people who has a problem with Danny’s “attitude” I leave you with this. Danny stays true to his self. He doesn’t compromise his integrity through this whole process. When he “talks back” to Simon he doesn’t disrespect him and Simon knows that. If it was disrespectful I’m pretty sure that Simon would have said something. He may not have the strongest voice on AI but it’s not just a singing competition. They’re trying to market a person who can sing but also who appeals to the masses. If it was just a singing competition Elliot from season 5 would have won AI instead of Taylor. I think Danny is the only one who is comfortable with himself and it will carry through.

ps. if none of this makes sense, I’m sorry…lol i’m hopped up cold medicine right now. I hate being sick

No. you made perfect sense. That’s exactly why I like Danny. He’s not pretending to be anything he’s not. And Simon likes his “back-talk” for that very reason… It’s entertaining and not disrespectful. Even little David sort of caught me offguard with his “Imagine is a sad song!” back-talk. It wasn’t nasty, by any means… I just was surprised.

I’m sorry but do we have to go through the same garbage from this site this year like with that suckjaya boy. The only thing about Danny is that he knows how to SING. I liked him at the beginning but that bitch attitude will be his downfall because the audience will get tired of that same attitude. It was fun at first but now it’s too bitchy and arrogant. At lest Suckjaya wasn’t consisently bitchy. Danny tone it down or you’ll say goodbye in a week or two. Too bad he wasn’t the weakest last night and we’ll see him into the top 12 next week. Danny N is a good singer; but most people love his attitude and personality more. Especially if you listen to his singing more often. The funny thing about his songs is the more you listen to it, the more you’ll love it. His attitude is so sassy! Hope he makes it to the next round and into the top 10! He deserves it! Go Danny!
