Jason Castro Fans

Jason Castro American Idol fans are either called “Jason’s Castronauts” or “Dreadheads”. How those guys at IDF came up and agreed to “Castronauts” is beyond me. I like “Dreadheads” better.

Girls, what will be the name of Jason Castro fans on Rickey.org? I’m thinking somewhere along the lines of the Castro District in San Francisco. (”You are about to enter the Castro District on Rickey.org — gay population: zero”)

Castronauts = sounds like a cross between “astronaut” and “castrate”
Dreadheads = could be a problem if Jason Castro cuts his hair

Castronauts? Really? WTF? That doesn’t even make sense.

Those scary board people are, well, scary. Ha. I never go over there.

Since I’m confident his dreads are going nowhere, I think Dreadheads is better.

I love it! *You* should definitely use that one, Rickey. I’ll bet it will make the entertainment news. It’s original and from the sounds of things around here, perfectly accurate.

But it does raise a question. Can Jason win without teh gey?

He’s had the dreads for like 4 years or so. I don’t think they are going anywhere. Castronauts sounds really lame and spacey.

How bout’ Blue Jay’s, for his blue eyes and first name?

Being a former Floridian, I don’t care for Castronauts. Dreadheads is OK, but I really like Blue Jays.

Come on guys. Get caught up on your mythology. Haven’t you ever heard of Jason and the Argonauts? Although sexy Greek hero is already Constantine’s domain. And Castronaut is stupid sounding.

I wanna be part of the district.

And surely there are some gay pot-smoking hippies out there.

Rickey, Dreadheads I really like and Jason and the Castronauts sounds kind of cute. But Castro District sounds classiest.

i was thinking that yesterday… then i went to IDF and found out they were calling themselves the Castronauts so i kinda forgot about it.

I know about Jason and the Argonauts. The trouble is Jason was not a worthy hero in Greek myth.
He lacked honour, married badly, had his kids murdered (by said wife) and died finally when his boat fell on him.

So it’s not really an honour for Jason Castro.

I hope there’ll be a Castro District at Rickey’s.

YAY!!! AMBER!!! I love this one too! I think he’s my favorite this year…I mean…not like in a sexuial way, but he’s my favorite because I love his goofy fun humble spirit.

I likey the Aussie for reasons that have nothing to do with singing.

All of the names seem fine with me, although, Blue Jays is pretty cool.

Hi Rickey.

I can see a problem with the title “Dreadheads” due to the well-known “deadheads”. As you know, the Grateful Dead followers are known by that name & the 2 are just too similar.
