Filipino-American Ramiele Malubay ROCKS! Her references to Philippine culture was just fantastic. For starters, her favorite singer is none other than Regine Velasquez! Here’s Regine Velasquez singing her signature song “Narito Ako“. And then she talks about balut, which is common food in the Philippines (and China, I think) that also happens to be the most terrifying food in the world. Hahaha. I love balut. It’s delicious! Ramiele Malubay gets my vote. I don’t think she has an entire state behind her like Jasmine Trias, but she’s certainly going to make waves in the Philippine community here in the U.S. and back in the Philippines.

That’s one negative for me, her favorite Filipino singer but other than that i like her voice and she seems so down to earth. I’m looking forward to seeing more from her.

i love ramiele. thank god that she made it this far. i’m still keeping my fingers crossed praying she will sail through top 12. she is far better that ms. trias. i love her big voice. it’s like her voice belongs to joanne borgella and vice versa. hehehe. love her big voice. hope she stay humble. i’m feeling there’ll be aretha franklin’s songs in her list.

haha you’re right kadra! joanne’s voice is thinner while ramiele’s is totally opposite…haha! i dunno rickey…her hula dancing plug could get some votes from hawaii. i’m a jasmine fan…but by far rami’s better. go ramiele!!!
