I really really want Garrett to do well and go a long way into the competition. He’s from around my hometown so I’ll be pulling for him. I just really fear the lack of exposure is going to hurt him big time.

I hate how we didn’t even get a little glimpse of him singing. So unfair. But that’s American Idol for ya!

He’ll just have to perform extra special in the first round.

That kinda sucks that anyone who makes American Idol’s top 24 wasn’t given ANY airtime before they’re performing for votes. Weird and really puts them at a huge disadvantage.

Garrett may of not gotten his moments of fame or given a dramatic story to go along with his uprising but he sure did get “yes” votes from all THREE judges every time he sang and that is a story in itself. He just might be one of the hidden secrets to this season. We have heard Garrett sing and he is AMAZING. So,Go Garrett ! We support you no matter what !

I’m looking forward to hearing him (for the first time!). All is not lost for Garrett – remember another AI contestant who got zero exposure and was expected to be voted off immediately… yet beat Daughtry to place third (my all-time favorite, Elliott!).
