One of the guys that has had zero exposure so far, Jason Yeager makes it to the American Idol Top 24 judging by these screencaps.

Jason Yeager, 28, Branson, MO. I have nothing on him. Joe’s Place says he was on “Making the Band” — which season I have no idea — maybe the season with super-hottie Ikaika Kahoano?

A bio I found:

Jason Yeager, 27, from Grand Prairie, Texas grew up singing in church. From there his love of music led him to competitions in school choir and then to performing at Six Flags over Texas for three years. He received a full vocal scholarship to Dallas Baptist University, and was a top 25 finalist on the ABC series “Making the Band”. Jason hopes to one day receive a recording contract.

Hmmm…with little or no exposure on Idol during the auditions and Hollywood rounds, this guy is either terrible (Bobby Bennett-style) or great (Bo Bice-style), neither of whom had any exposure during those same rounds in their seasons.

Stinks for him and the other 3 guys who are rumored to make the top 24 that we have seen absolutely nothing from. They’d better be amazing, or they’re easy to pick for elimination the first two weeks.

His audition was actually briefly shown during the previews for the Dallas episode.

Based on the two seconds that I heard, he has a good voice, but I have to hear some more to make sure =]

Actually, Bo Bice had a TINY bit of exposure during Hollywood week, where he sang “The Letter” (in a montage featuring other rockers of that season).

Jason Yeager was shown very briefly during the previews of the Dallas episode. It wasn’t enough to get a definite reaction to how well he sings, but from what I heard, I liked his voice.

yeah, with no previous idol exposure, he’ll have to pull a kelly clarkson and WOW us during the top 24.

she went through the same thing, but completely floored us with RESPECT.

(and i still find it HILARIOUS that Simon wasn’t going to even give KELLY a chance. He didn’t even start picking up with her until about 1/2 way through the show, then he realized how much of a star she was)
