Oh YES, Rickey, I say SPOIL AWAY!
I was hoping to see your comments on last night’s judging maylay. I felt like I was watching an episode of “Hey Paula”. I love Paula, but she does herself no favors when she shows up late, slurring her words and falling asleep at the table. Can someone please get the poor girl some help?! The producers have to know how this plays.
It looks like they are sacrificing her health for ratings, once again. Guess that’s “Hollyrock”.

Ooo, I may have a new “fave” (since one of my others is reportedly no longer in the comp…). And I liked his look – rocky, funky but not over the top. Loved the argyle sweater!

And yes…I’m trying to avoid “Top 24″ spoilers this go ’round. I want to just watch the episodes and see what happens instead of always knowing beforehand. >.<

I disagree. Other than the faux-hawk, I didn’t think he was anything like Blake. Musically, he reminded more of Chris Daughtry, too.

But while Chris is more adult contemporary rock (3rd Eye Blind, Matchbox 20, Nickelback) I see this guy as younger, alternative rock Panic! at the Disco, Good Charlotte, Boys like Girls). He actually kinda looks like the guy from Fall Out Boy.

I think he could be very marketable. Hope he makes it.

You’re right. Maybe more Chris Daughtry than Blake. I guess it was the sweater that threw me off.

And YES to the kid who is going to host the AI FINAL for the local Oklahoma Fox channel. He totally cracked me up. His audition was a sweeter, gentler version of last year’s Joseph
(Joseph?) Benardo– my all-time favorite AI audtion clip ever. “GLOWWWREEEAAA, I THINNK I GAWT YUH NUMBUH….”

He is definitely Daughtrey-like! Cook is one of maybe three that I could actually remember, but had to check Rickey’s site for his name, of course. Go David! Wonder what the Idol hair stylists will do with him???

I’m not sure what idol08 was listening to, but David Cook’s songs have been getting some attention. When David sings a song, he sings it in his style. Now, there wouldn’t even be any discussion about David using other people’s arrangements if his songs were so good and his performances great. People are even buying the original artist’s music because of David. He is win win. He is my pick for AI.

Can’t wait till tuesday, I know DC will bring it.
I just bought an awesome DC t-shirt today. It says David Cook Had Me At “Hello”….with a picture of a guy playing a guitar in the letter “D”. They also have a sticker if you’re a guy..lol
